The Role We’re looking for a Senior Software Sales Manager to own and grow our revenue pipeline in the Egyptian market. You will sell Velents’ full product suite — including Agent. SA, SAFHA, and the broader Velents AI platform — to large enterprises, banks, telecom operators, healthcare groups, retail/e-commerce companies, outsourcing providers, and digital transformation teams. You’ll work closely with pre-sales, product, and delivery teams to build strong proposals, run demos, manage complex sales cycles, and close strategic deals. Build and maintain a qualified pipeline targeting banks, telecom companies, healthcare groups, retail and e-commerce businesses, BPOs, large corporates, and technology-driven enterprises. Collaborate with pre-sales and solutions teams to prepare proposals, demos, proof-of-concepts, RFP responses, and commercial offers. Navigate enterprise procurement processes, vendor registration requirements, budget cycles, security reviews, and legal/commercial negotiations. Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts across Agent. SA, SAFHA, HR tech, QA, and automation use cases. Represent Velents in client meetings, partner discussions, industry events, and enterprise technology forums in Egypt. Provide market intelligence on client needs, pricing expectations, competition, buying behavior, and sector-specific opportunities. Maintain accurate CRM updates, pipeline tracking, forecasting, and deal reporting. What We’re Looking For Strong experience selling software, Saa S, AI, cloud, automation, digital transformation, CX, HR tech, or enterprise technology solutions in Egypt. Proven track record of closing B2B enterprise deals with medium to large organizations. Strong understanding of the Egyptian enterprise market, especially sectors such as banking, telecom, healthcare, retail, e-commerce, BPO/contact centers, real estate, and large corporates. Established network with decision-makers across IT, digital transformation, customer experience, operations, HR, procurement, or executive leadership. Ability to manage long and complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders. Strong commercial discipline, including pipeline management, forecasting, negotiation, and account planning. Fluent Arabic; strong professional English required. Based in Cairo or willing to operate actively across the Egyptian market. Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with a high degree of ownership and autonomy. Nice to Have Familiarity with conversational AI, voice bots, Whats App automation, document processing, OCR, HR tech, or call quality assurance products. This mandate is intentionally broad to reflect the realities of a fast-scaling startup. Beyond operational excellence, the role includes strategic exposure to investors, audits, fundraising, board reporting, and capital planning. The role reports directly to the Founder & CEO.<br>Core Responsibilities Financial Operations & Accounting Leadership Direct all day-to-day accounting workflows with full ownership of bookkeeping accuracy. Configure and operate accounting systems (e.g., Odoo) and maintain a compliant, scalable Chart of Accounts. Lead monthly and annual closing cycles: journal entries, accruals, depreciation, prepaid expenses, and reconciliation workflows. Manage payroll, gratuity calculations, leave accruals, employee accounting, and multi-currency reconciliations. Produce monthly and quarterly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow). Cashflow Management, Treasury & Collections Act as custodian of liquidity forecasting, burn management, and scenario modelling. Oversee all receivables, payment tracking, and rigorous collections processes across all channels. Strengthen treasury controls, vendor payments, and internal disbursement workflows. VAT, Compliance & Audit Management Own UAE VAT compliance end-to-end, including quarterly VAT filings and regulatory documentation. and later on, Saudi Arabia and Egypt Tax systems. Manage tax-exempt transaction classifications, VAT reconciliations, and supplier/customer compliance validation. Prepare the company for audits, coordinate with auditors, and maintain audit-ready documentation. Prepare investor-ready dashboards, KPIs, financial packs, and performance insight decks. Business Planning & Strategic Financial Execution Develop financial models aligned with product roadmap, revenue strategy, and geographic expansion. <h4>Overview of the role</h4>
<p>Support the development management function by coordinating and driving projects through the various stages of the development lifecycle, under the guidance of the Senior Development Manager. The role is responsible for ensuring effective planning, stakeholder coordination, and alignment of project objectives, while supporting the successful delivery of projects through to practical completion. The position plays a key role in managing project timelines, monitoring financial and commercial performance, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring development activities are executed in line with the project vision, business objectives, and approved strategies.</p>
<h4>What you will do</h4>

<li>Support the management of development projects from feasibility through design, construction, handover, and project closeout stages.</li>
<li>Monitor project business cases, development briefs, budgets, timelines, risks, opportunities, and key performance indicators to ensure alignment with project objectives.</li>
<li>Coordinate the preparation of feasibility studies, financial appraisals, project budgets, and stakeholder approvals in line with company policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Work closely with design teams and consultants to develop project briefs, manage design deliverables, secure approvals, and ensure compliance with quality, cost, and timeline requirements.</li>
<li>Collaborate with project management and delivery teams during pre-construction and construction phases to support procurement, contractor selection, project execution, and site progress monitoring.</li>
<li>Monitor project costs, cash flows, schedules, and commercial performance to ensure compliance with approved business cases and development targets.</li>
<li>Coordinate with finance, investment analytics, commercial, sales, leasing, marketing, and operations teams to support project feasibility, revenue strategies, funding requirements, and operational readiness.</li>
<li>Support contract administration, procurement activities, change management, reporting, and stakeholder communications throughout the project lifecycle.</li>
<li>Participate in project handover activities, final inspections, closeout processes, and lessons learned reviews to ensure successful project delivery.</li>

<h4>Required skills to be successful</h4>

<li>6-10+ years of experience in real estate development, project management, development management, or a related field, with at least 2 years within a real estate development company.</li>
<li>Proven experience supporting projects across feasibility, design, construction, and handover stages.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of project financials, budgeting, feasibility studies, project planning, and development processes.</li>
<li>Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders, including design, project management, sales, leasing, finance, marketing, and operations teams.</li>
<li>Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.</li>
<li>Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and AutoCAD.</li>
<li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting capabilities.</li>
