Role Description The Kitchen Technical Office Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in New Cairo. The role involves preparing and reviewing shop drawings, BOQs, and production documentation for kitchens, dressing rooms, and custom furniture. The engineer will coordinate with the Design, Production, Procurement, and Site teams to ensure accurate technical drawings, material specifications, and smooth project execution while supporting manufacturing and installation processes. Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, Quantity Surveying, and cost estimation for furniture and interior fit-out projects. Solid knowledge of Civil Engineering principles related to interior construction and cabinetry installation. Basic understanding of Electrical and MEP coordination, including appliance layouts and power requirements. Mandatory proficiency in Auto CAD. Mandatory proficiency in Sketch Up. Mandatory proficiency in Open Cut List for cutting optimization and production preparation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to coordinate effectively with Design, Production, Procurement, and Site teams. Willingness to conduct site visits for measurements and technical coordination when required.
