Role Description The Religious Tourism Manager (Hajj & Umrah) – مدير السياحة الدينية will oversee the planning, promotion, and execution of Hajj and Umrah packages, ensuring a smooth, compliant, and customer-focused experience. This full-time, on-site role based in Cairo involves coordinating with airlines, hotels, local ground operators, and religious tour guides to design and manage itineraries that meet the needs of diverse pilgrims. The manager will lead communication with clients, provide pre-travel guidance, manage bookings and documentation, and handle on-the-ground logistics and issue resolution during peak seasons. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring service quality, optimizing package pricing, supervising a dedicated operations team, and maintaining strong relationships with partners in Saudi Arabia. The role also includes developing marketing initiatives, tracking performance, and contributing to the continuous improvement of religious tourism offerings. Qualifications Experience in religious tourism or travel management, particularly with Hajj and Umrah operations, including itinerary planning and vendor coordination. Strong customer service, client relationship management, and communication skills in both Arabic and English. Knowledge of Hajj and Umrah regulations, visa procedures, and relevant travel compliance requirements. Organizational and time-management abilities, with skill in handling multiple groups, peak-season pressure, and on-site problem-solving. Team leadership and supervisory experience, with the ability to train, guide, and support staff in operations and customer care. Competence with travel booking systems, MS Office tools, and basic reporting for operational and financial performance. Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Previous experience in the Egyptian travel industry and familiarity with Saudi destinations and suppliers is an advantage.
