About Us Base360.ai is the AI operating system for short-term rental businesses, helping property managers run their operations on autopilot. Born out of The Flex, a short-term rental operator that scaled to an eight-figure business using its own software, Base360.ai is now launching as a standalone platform for short-term rental operators worldwide. We bring reservations, guest communication, pricing, payments, cleaning, maintenance, and reporting into one platform—helping operators automate manual work, reduce costs, increase revenue, and scale their portfolios. We're looking for an ambitious Product Engineer who wants to turn real customer problems into intuitive, reliable software. You'll work closely with founders, designers, and operators to identify what matters, build solutions, and improve them based on how people use them. If you enjoy owning the full journey from customer problem to shipped product—and you're excited by AI, automation, and short-term rentals—we want to meet you. What You'll Build As a Product Engineer, you'll help shape and scale Base360.ai across the entire short-term rental lifecycle. You'll build customer-facing features, operational dashboards, automation engines, AI-powered workflows, and integrations that help property managers grow without increasing their workload at the same rate. Your work will connect what users see with the systems behind it—from a guest’s check-in experience to the workflows coordinating reservations, cleaning, payments, and owner reporting. Your Mission Understand Customer Problems Work directly with property managers and internal teams to understand their workflows, identify friction, and decide which problems are worth solving. Build Products End-to-End Take features from idea and prototype through frontend, backend, integrations, testing, and deployment. Own the complete experience and how it performs in production. Create Intuitive User Experiences Work with designers to make complex short-term rental operations easy to manage. Build interfaces that help users complete tasks quickly and confidently. Create Powerful Automations Build event-driven workflows that eliminate repetitive work—from scheduling cleaning after a booking to sending check-in instructions and generating owner statements. Develop AI-Powered Features Use LLMs and AI agents to automate guest communication, triage maintenance requests, support pricing decisions, and help operators manage their portfolios more efficiently. Connect the Ecosystem Build reliable APIs and integrations with platforms including Airbnb, Hostaway, Stripe, Twilio, OpenAI, Google, and other partners across the short-term rental ecosystem. Software Engineering Manager

Remote - Egypt - Cairo 27 July 2026

Engineering

<h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> Who Are We❓ We Are Foodics! a leading restaurant management ecosystem and payment tech provider. Founded in 2014 with headquarter in Riyadh and offices across 5 countries, including UAE, Egypt, Jordan and Kuwait. We are currently serving customers and partners in over 35 different countries worldwide. Our innovative products have successfully processed over 6 billion (yes, billion with a B) orders so far! making Foodics one of the most rapidly evolving SaaS companies to ever emerge from the MENA region. Also Foodics has achieved three rounds of funding, with the latest raising $170 million in the largest SaaS funding round in MENA, boosting its innovation capabilities to better serve business owners. About the role We are growing our engineering team and are looking for a technically strong Engineering Manager to lead one of our delivery teams. This is a delivery-focused leadership role: your job is to turn a cross-functional roadmap into shipped, high-quality software on a predictable cadence, while providing the technical insight and guidance needed to keep delivery pragmatic, reliable, and well-executed. The team has two clear areas of ownership. First, the Hotels domain, the guest-facing and hotel-operations features that serve our enterprise hotel customers, from in-room and on-property ordering through to stay-management and guest-services capabilities. Second, third-party integrations such as POS's (Point of Sale), PMS (Property Management System), payment gateways, and loyalty connections that the Hotels business depends on, where you own the technical relationship end-to-end. You own the throughput, quality, and getting integration-heavy work delivered efficiently. This role reports to the Engineering Director. Your mission You own the delivery health of your squad end-to-end. You take a mixed backlog of integration, platform, and product work and ship it predictably, at high quality, with the dependencies managed and the risks surfaced early. Key responsibilities Manage a team of full stack engineers, actively drive their growth, performance, and engagement. Mobile engineers are a possibility as well. Turn quarterly roadmaps into a realistic delivery plan, track progress, and report status with metrics against company goals. Run tight agile processes and continuously improve them based on delivery metrics. Manage dependencies across different domains, with external integration partners, escalating and resolving blockers early (e. g. with POS systems etc. ). Review RFCs and technical proposals, providing feedback on design, scalability, security, and integration risk, and helping the team converge on sound decisions before things enter a delivery commitment. Lead technical discussions with third-party integration partners, translating between partner APIs and constraints and wi-Q's architecture, and owning the technical feasibility view in those conversations. Improve engineering process and delivery metrics (for example cycle time, deployment frequency, change-failure rate, and defect escape rate), and use them to drive decisions. Uphold security and compliance obligations relevant to the team's work (e. g. PCI DSS etc. ), embedding them into how the squad builds rather than treating them as an afterthought. Draft and track team OKRs and engineering KPIs (e. g. DORA); when the team is off track, show what is being done about it. Coordinate across Product, Customer Success, DevOps, and the Foodics counterparts to deliver shared goals. What success looks like (first 6-12 months) The team has a predictable delivery cadence, with sprint and quarterly commitments met at a consistent and improving hit rate. Cross-team and third-party dependencies are visible and managed early, so the squad is rarely blocked and rarely blocks others. Release quality is measurably higher: fewer escaped defects and a faster, safer path from merge to production. Delivery from the team contributes directly to improving TTV for new customer go-lives and to protecting NRR through platform stability. The team is fully staffed, ramped, and retained, with a clear working model and a healthy engagement signal. Product, Commercial, and Customer Success stakeholders trust the team's estimates, status, and risk flags. Your skills Demonstrated experience managing a team of software engineers, with a track record of delivering on commitments predictably. Strong command of agile and lean delivery practices (sprints, kanban, estimation, refinement) and the maturity to adapt process to context rather than apply it dogmatically. Proven ability to manage dependencies and coordinate delivery across multiple teams and external partners. Technically strong: able to review RFCs and technical proposals critically, reason about architecture, scalability, and integration risk, scope engineering spikes, and hold your own in technical discussions with engineers and third-party partners. Fluency with delivery and quality metrics, and the discipline to lead with data over anecdote. Excellent written and verbal communication in English; able to lead with the conclusion, be concise, and be specific about blockers and decisions needed. Ability to translate technical concepts into easily digestible language for non-technical business stakeholders. Experience operating in multi-market or multi-region environments, ideally with distributed and remote teams. Comfortable in a fast-moving scale-up where priorities shift and ambiguity is normal. Nice-to-haves Experience in B2B SaaS with high-volume B2C traffic patterns. Background in hospitality-tech, food and beverage, payments, or last-mile delivery. Working knowledge of our stack: Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes, GitHub, PHP/Symfony, NodeJS, Typescript, and a mobile stack (Capacitor, Ionic, or React Native). Familiarity with integrating third-party systems (POS, PMS, payment gateways, delivery aggregators) and the reliability challenges they bring. Experience hiring and scaling engineering teams in the MENA region. BSc or MSc degree (or equivalent experience). What we offer Curated career progression planning with formal yearly reviews and informal check-ins along the way. Encouragement to grow into a Feature Development Lead. A competitive salary. Ample time to learn new concepts - including paid development and business-related conferences. Fully remote working, no commuting expenses. Flexible work hours. We'll need you around for a 10am stand-up; otherwise you work as and when it suits you. 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), with an additional day per year of service. Regular all-company socials and quarterly team socials. A team that genuinely likes learning and shipping together. </div>

</div>

Customer Service

About Bosta: Launched in 2017, Bosta is an overnight delivery provider for E-commerce companies in Egypt. Leveraging technology to empower businesses is what we do best. Our goal is to disrupt the logistics industry by bringing technology and experience all together to provide a one-stop-shop for delivery solutions. We rely on advanced technology to deliver orders to our customers in a fast way. Businesses can track and connect with couriers and follow up on their orders - all in one system. About the role: We’re rebuilding Bosta’s data platform end-to-end: from Mongo DB at the source, through a governed semantic layer that LLM-native tools (NL-to-SQL agents, AI analysts, embedded copilots) can sit on top of safely and cheaply. You will help own that rebuild. This is a hands-on role. You’ll set patterns, write the foundational code, and ship across the stack — from CDC and ingestion through dbt, the semantic layer, and the interfaces that BI tools and AI agents consume. Job Responsibilities End-to-end pipeline work: Mongo DB CDC → ingestion → lakehouse → warehouse → dbt → semantic layer → BI/AI consumers Co-ownership of architecture decisions with the Data Engineering Lead CDC from production Mongo DB without degrading operational DB performance; ingestion patterns that make adding a new source a config change, not a project Orchestration that’s observable end-to-end (Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect) The dbt project: structure, conventions, tests, contracts, exposures, CIThe semantic / metrics layer (dbt Semantic Layer, Cube, or equivalent) — one canonical definition per business metric LLM-readiness: column-level documentation, PII tagging, query cost guardrails, materialized metric tables, and evals on AI-generated SQLMigration of existing logic out of the Tableau and Metabase sprawl into modeled, governed sources Job Qualifications 4+ years across data engineering and/or analytics engineering — you’ve spent meaningful time on both sides Comfort spanning the stack: comfortable shipping a Debezium connector one week and a dbt mart the next Deep dbt and SQL — you’ve owned a non-trivial project, not just contributed to one Production CDC experience (Debezium, Kafka Connect, Airbyte, or hand-rolled) against operational databases — bonus if that database was Mongo DBA cloud warehouse you know deeply (Redshift, Snowflake, Big Query, or Databricks) Strong Python; comfortable in Linux, infra-as-code, and CI/CDWorking understanding of how LLM tooling (RAG, NL-to-SQL, embedded agents) consumes a data platform — and what breaks when the platform isn’t ready Strong opinions on modeling, lightly held; bias toward observability Bonus: Mongo DB schema evolution at scale Production semantic-layer rollouts (dbt Semantic Layer, Cube, Look ML, Metric Flow) Lakehouse formats (Iceberg, Delta, Hudi) or streaming experience (Kafka, Flink, Kinesis) Data catalog / lineage tooling (Data Hub, Atlan, Collibra) Logistics, marketplaces, or other operationally heavy domains Evals on AI-generated SQL or analytical reasoning Thank you for considering Bosta as your next career step. We value every application we receive, and our selection process is designed to ensure the best fit for both our team and our candidates. We appreciate your patience throughout the process We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans. Lucidya is a leading AI-powered Customer Experience Management (CXM) platform in the MENA region, enabling enterprises to understand, engage, and serve customers across digital channels at scale. As we move toward IPO-scale, we are rebuilding parts of our platform to achieve: Extreme reliability (SLO-driven engineering) High-scale distributed processing (billions of data points) AI-native architecture (LLM + real-time intelligence) We don't optimize for titles, we optimize for impact! Whether you are junior or senior doesn't matter and what matters is your ability to move faster and think deeper than the average engineer. We operate with extreme ownership. Problems don't belong to teams or tickets where they belong to whoever sees them. The right person for this role doesn't walk past a broken system. If something is failing, you fix it even if it's not "your job." What You Will Work On Microservices & Distributed Architecture Design and operate high-throughput, event-driven pipelines across a 100+ microservice ecosystem handling billions of data points Build and scale distributed messaging systems with Rabbit MQ, backpressure management, consumer scaling, and queue health Develop and maintain API gateway layers with advanced routing (multi-upstream, traffic splitting, environment isolation) Architect SSO and identity federation for enterprise clients, supporting multi-IdP routing with zero coupling to core services Define clean service boundaries across ingestion, processing, and delivery pipelines spanning Ruby and Python Performance & Systems Diagnose and resolve complex production issues (e.g., deadlocks, queue exhaustion, connection pool saturation) — and eliminate root causes Optimize Postgre SQL for heavy write workloads, contention management, schema design, triggers, and connection scaling Design and tune Elasticsearch for search, indexing, and real-time Arabic relevance at scale Make informed trade-offs between multi-process and async architectures based on workload characteristics Observability & Reliability Build and maintain observability across a large-scale system using Grafana, Loki, distributed tracing, and SLOs Own production incidents end-to-end, tracing failures across queues, search systems, and external integrations Lead root cause analysis and implement preventative measures across multi-service pipelines Build internal tooling that improves engineering velocity, automation, deployment gating, and review enforcement Turn architectural principles into enforceable standards and guardrails, not just documentation Platform Evolution Drive platform decoupling and service isolation across the system Contribute to Kubernetes migration and infrastructure modernization Standardize and improve CI/CD pipelines across services Stack Ruby on Rails Python Postgre SQL Elasticsearch Redis Rabbit MQ Kubernetes AWS / GCP APISIX Grafana + Loki What We Are Looking For Strong foundation in distributed systems. You understand failure modes before you write the first line Hands-on experience with event-driven architecture and message queues in production Deep comfort with concurrency, backpressure, and fault tolerance Track record debugging complex production issues — not just fixing them, preventing them Experience with Rails or Python backends at meaningful scale You improve systems you weren't asked to touch This Role is a Strong Fit If You... Read and understand an existing codebase by week one See a broken system and fix it before anyone asks you to Have strong opinions about architecture and can back them up with data Think in systems: latency, throughput, failure modes, and cost at scale Treat documentation, tests, and observability as non-negotiable defaults and not afterthoughts Ship fast and without breaking things. Speed and quality are not a trade-off for you Consistently exceed expectations where meeting the bar is a floor, not a target Are hungry for hard challenges and actively seek problems at the edge of your limits Feel a sense of urgency that doesn't require external pressure Have rebuilt or stabilised something significant and can talk about it concretely Why Lucidya Real scale with billions of events and not just toy systems Direct impact at CTO and executive level Pre-IPO with clear trajectory and your work has real impact on clients

التقنيات المستخدمة (Stack) Ruby on Rails، Python، Postgre SQL، Elasticsearch، Redis، Rabbit MQ، Kubernetes، AWS / GCP، APISIX، Grafana + Loki.

Marketing

About Finanshels Finanshels is the Finance OS for the GCC’s fastest-growing SMEs. We give every founder a full finance function — accounting, VAT, corporate tax, and CFO advisory — at a fixed monthly fee, with no hiring and no overhead. We are AI-native and human-backed: 150+ qualified accountants, powered by our own workflow platform. The proof: 7,000+ businesses served, 4.9★ on Trustpilot, 48–72 hours to compliance, MBRIF-backed, and named in Gulf News’ Top 10. We are UAE-based and GCC-expanding. We are not a traditional accounting firm — we are the infrastructure layer that replaces the cost and complexity of an in-house finance team. About The Role We are hiring an AI-Native Content Writer to own how Finanshels shows up in search, in AI answers, and across the channels where UAE founders make decisions. This is not a traditional content role. You will not simply write more blogs. You will design, build, and run an agentic content system — a chain of AI agents that takes a topic from discovery to a published, human-reviewed article, at high velocity and consistent quality. You bring genuine understanding of finance, tax, and compliance, real long-form SEO craft, and hands-on experience wiring AI tools into a working pipeline. You will report into marketing leadership and work closely with our finance experts to keep every piece accurate, compliant, and useful. What You Will Own <ul><li>The content engine. Build and operate the AI-agent pipeline that plans, drafts, validates, humanises, and publishes content end to end — and keep raising its quality and output.</li><li>SEO, GEO and AEO outcomes. Grow organic traffic, keyword rankings, and — just as important — how often Finanshels is cited in AI-generated answers (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews) for UAE finance and tax queries.</li><li>The editorial calendar. Plan and execute an ICP-focused content calendar at high velocity across articles, guides, e-books, reports, press releases, and social.</li><li>Long-form authority content. Produce accurate, plain-English content on accounting, VAT, corporate tax, audit, AML, and compliance that founders actually trust and act on.</li><li>Repurposing and distribution. Turn every pillar piece into social copy, newsletters, and short-form assets using tools like Surfer SEO — one input, many outputs.</li><li>Webinars and events. Build the webinar and event calendar; create decks and talking points; host sessions when required.</li><li>Publishing and craft. Publish clean, on-brand pages in Webflow (and WordPress / React where needed) and produce basic supporting design in Canva and Adobe / AI tools. </li></ul>The AI-Native Content System You Will Build and Run The core of this role is a working, agentic content pipeline. You should be able to demonstrate and explain a system like the one below — how each agent hands off to the next, where the tools connect, and where the human stays in control. We use Claude to orchestrate; strong candidates can build this with Claude plus the tools below, or with an equivalent platform such as AirOps. You have built an agentic system that writes and publishes AI-assisted content end to end, and can walk us through exactly how you did it.</li><li>End-to-end AI copy workflows. Hands-on with tools such as Claude, Frase, Originality.ai, and Humanize AI / Walter Writes — from brief generation to publishing.</li><li>Orchestration skill. You can integrate Claude with the tools above, or with a platform such as AirOps, and explain the architecture clearly to a non-technical team.</li><li>Rehashing and repurposing at scale using tools like Surfer SEO.</li><li>CMS publishing in Webflow, WordPress, and React.</li><li>Demonstrable SEO / GEO / AEO outcomes for fintech or finance brands — with numbers you can show.</li><li>ICP-focused content calendars planned and executed at high velocity.</li><li>Creative and social media copy with demonstrable outcomes.</li><li>Webinar and event capability: calendars, decks, talking points, and hosting when required.</li><li>Basic design in Canva, Adobe, and other AI tools.</li><li>Fluent English. You have high standards and translate every financial term into plain English. You are as comfortable in a keyword tool and an AI workflow as you are in a blank document. You care that content is accurate, useful, and compliant — not just that it ranks. And you are excited to build systems that let a small team punch far above its weight. How To Apply Send your CV, a short portfolio of long-form and finance/fintech content, and — most importantly — a walkthrough of an AI content system you have built.

Senior Mobile Platform Engineer

On-site - Egypt - Cairo 30 September 2026

<h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> Proudly recognized as a Great Place to Work®, we are an AI-native customer experience platform purpose-built for emerging markets. With more than 25 years of conversational AI research and development, we serve over 5,000 enterprises across MENA and are pioneering sovereign, agentic AI through our Agentic Studio platform. As the category takes shape, the way Unifonic is perceived — by buyers, analysts, media, and the broader market — is a strategic asset. This role owns that perception. We thrive on creativity, collaboration, and fun, where every idea is welcomed and celebrated. As shareholders in the company, we’re more than just communicators—we’re innovators shaping the future together. We are Unifones. Join us and be part of something extraordinary! Meet the team! Our Engineering team is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the systems and technologies that drive Unifonic’s solutions. We work closely with other departments to ensure our products and services meet the needs of our customers. If you are passionate about technology and are excited about working on cutting-edge communication and engagement solutions, we want you on our team. As a Mobile Platform Engineer, you’ll own our SDK platform end to end—treating it like a product that developers rely on every day. You’ll shape the foundations that make our mobile experiences reliable, extensible, and easy to integrate. Your week will span the full platform lifecycle: roughly a third of your time will go into the shells, packaging, and add-ons that bring the SDK to life; about a fifth will focus on the core SDK and the contracts that keep it stable and predictable. The rest will take you across customer troubleshooting, release engineering, documentation, and exploring new platform capabilities. Help us shape the future of communication by: <ul><li>Designing the public API of the SDK on your primary platform and keep it idiomatic: async and AsyncSequence on iOS, suspend and Flow on Android, Promises and events on the web. </li><li>Writing the contract for each feature by hand: new event and command variants in the core, the public API shape, and the conformance vectors that every shell must pass. </li><li>Implementing features in the Rust core and the shell executors, with coding agents doing much of the typing and you owning every line that merges. </li><li>Translating OS lifecycle into SDK behavior: scene phases, process death, background limits, push wake-ups, connectivity changes, app extensions. </li><li>Building and keeping green the release pipeline: one coordinated release produces the XCFramework, AAR, npm packages and sample apps, signed, with symbols, SBOM and privacy manifest. </li><li>Running the consumer test matrix: tiny storefront apps per configuration (minimum Xcode and AGP, R8 full mode, arm64-only ABI filters, React Native new architecture, Expo prebuild, Vite, webpack, Next.js). </li><li>Handling merchant tickets on rotation: triage by layer, replay diagnostics bundles, fix with a new vector or platform test, ship a patch release. </li><li>Shipping platform-specific add-ons beside the common SDK: rich push with product images, in-app campaign UI, Android Binder service, FCM forwarding, App Attest and Play Integrity. </li><li>Keeping the observability contract: structured logs with correlation ids, metrics callbacks, stable error codes, diagnostics() and selfCheck() . </li><li>Tracking annual OS, Xcode, AGP and React Native changes and land them before merchants hit them. </li><li>Writing what you decide: ADRs, changelogs, migration notes and integration docs that a person or a coding agent can follow to a first tracked event in under 30 minutes. </li></ul> What you'll bring: <ul><li>7+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years working on a library, SDK, framework, or platform consumed by third-party developers. </li><li>Strong experience with public API design and Semantic Versioning (SemVer), including managing deprecations without breaking existing customers. </li><li>Deep understanding of mobile platform lifecycles, including process death and restoration, background execution limits, push wake-ups, extensions, and platform services. </li><li>Hands-on experience with native build systems and packaging, including publishing to a package registry and troubleshooting third-party builds. </li><li>Experience with FFI and language interoperability, such as JNI/NDK on Android, C interoperability with Swift, or another production-shipped language boundary. </li><li>Experience supporting third-party integrators through documentation, technical support, troubleshooting, and analyzing symbolicated crash reports. </li><li>Strong testing mindset, using tests as a design tool rather than simply a validation step; experience with property-based or mutation testing is a plus. </li><li>Excellent technical writing skills, with experience creating ADRs, changelogs, migration guides, and developer documentation. </li><li>Comfortable reviewing code across Android and iOS, with the ability to identify lifecycle, concurrency, and threading issues. </li><li>Strong experience with AI-assisted development and coding agents, with the ability to thoroughly review, validate, and explain AI-generated code before it reaches production. </li></ul><ol><li>iOS <ul><li>Shipping and maintaining an iOS library/SDK consumed by third parties and distributed through SPM or CocoaPods. </li><li>Production experience with Swift 6 concurrency, including actors, Sendable, and structured concurrency. </li><li>Building or maintaing app extensions, ideally a Notification Service Extension. </li><li>Hands-on experience with XCFrameworks, code signing, dSYMs, and privacy manifests. </li></ul></li><li>Android <ul><li>Shipping and maintaining an Android library/SDK consumed by third parties and distributed through Maven Central. </li><li>Experience with consumer ProGuard/R8 rules and JNI/NDK, including native library packaging across ABIs. </li><li>Production experience with Android lifecycle and background execution, including process death, Doze, background restrictions, and WorkManager. </li><li>Strong TypeScript experience, including at least one published npm package. </li><li>Experience building React Native native modules using the New Architecture. </li></ul></li></ol>AI Proficiency: <ul><li>Minimum Level: L5 — Advanced proficiency in AI-assisted software development, using AI for coding, code review, testing, debugging, and optimization. </li><li>Expected: Uses AI effectively to improve development speed, code quality, and engineering efficiency. </li><li> Hands-on experience with Claude Code, including skill files, commands, and structured prompts. </li><li>Understands context separation and sub-agents and knows when to use them for complex or parallel tasks. </li><li>Critically reviews and validates all AI-generated code before production use. </li></ul>Craft & Toolkit: <ul><li>Mobile SDK & Library Development </li><li>Public API Design & Versioning </li><li>iOS & Android Platform Expertise </li><li>Native Build & Package Management </li><li>FFI & Native Interoperability </li><li>Mobile Lifecycle & Background Execution </li><li>Third-Party Integration & Support </li><li>Testing & Quality Engineering </li><li>Technical Documentation </li><li>AI-Assisted Software Development </li></ul>Character Traits: <ul><li>Analytical thinking and problem-solving – approach problems clearly, use data, and find solutions. </li><li>Ownership and accountability – take responsibility and follow projects through to completion. </li><li>Communication – explain ideas clearly and listen to others across teams. </li><li>Collaboration – work well with others and support team goals. </li><li>Adaptability and learning – adjust to change and keep learning new skills or tools. </li><li>Mentorship and knowledge sharing – help others grow and share what you know. </li><li>Resilience – stay calm under pressure and handle setbacks constructively. </li><li>Quality and attention to detail – do work carefully and strive for improvement. </li><li>Advocacy and innovation – encourage best practices, efficiency, and new ideas </li></ul>As a Unifone you’ll receive a range of benefits: <ul><li>Competitive salary and bonus </li><li>Unifonic share scheme (we are all owners!) </li><li>30 holiday days after the first anniversary </li><li>Your Birthday off! </li><li>Spend up to 25 days per year working from anywhere in the world! </li><li>Paid leave for new parents </li></ul> </div>

Senior Mobile Platform Engineer

On-site - Egypt - Cairo 29 September 2026

Information Technology

Job Description Proudly recognized as a Great Place to Work®, we are an AI-native customer experience platform purpose-built for emerging markets. Help Us Shape The Future Of Communication By <ul><li> Designing the public API of the SDK on your primary platform and keep it idiomatic: async and AsyncSequence on iOS, suspend and Flow on Android, Promises and events on the web. </li><li> Writing the contract for each feature by hand: new event and command variants in the core, the public API shape, and the conformance vectors that every shell must pass. </li><li> Implementing features in the Rust core and the shell executors, with coding agents doing much of the typing and you owning every line that merges. </li><li> Translating OS lifecycle into SDK behavior: scene phases, process death, background limits, push wake-ups, connectivity changes, app extensions. </li><li> Building and keeping green the release pipeline: one coordinated release produces the XCFramework, AAR, npm packages and sample apps, signed, with symbols, SBOM and privacy manifest. </li><li> Running the consumer test matrix: tiny storefront apps per configuration (minimum Xcode and AGP, R8 full mode, arm64-only ABI filters, React Native new architecture, Expo prebuild, Vite, webpack, Next.js ). </li><li> Handling merchant tickets on rotation: triage by layer, replay diagnostics bundles, fix with a new vector or platform test, ship a patch release. </li><li> Shipping platform-specific add-ons beside the common SDK: rich push with product images, in-app campaign UI, Android Binder service, FCM forwarding, App Attest and Play Integrity. </li><li> Keeping the observability contract: structured logs with correlation ids, metrics callbacks, stable error codes, diagnostics() and selfCheck() . </li><li> Tracking annual OS, Xcode, AGP and React Native changes and land them before merchants hit them. </li><li> Writing what you decide: ADRs, changelogs, migration notes and integration docs that a person or a coding agent can follow to a first tracked event in under 30 minutes. </li></ul>Job Requirements What you'll bring: <ul><li> 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years working on a library, SDK, framework, or platform consumed by third-party developers. </li><li></li><li> Strong experience with public API design and Semantic Versioning (SemVer), including managing deprecations without breaking existing customers. </li><li> Deep understanding of mobile platform lifecycles, including process death and restoration, background execution limits, push wake-ups, extensions, and platform services. </li><li> Hands-on experience with native build systems and packaging, including publishing to a package registry and troubleshooting third-party builds. </li><li> Experience with FFI and language interoperability, such as JNI/NDK on Android, C interoperability with Swift, or another production-shipped language boundary. </li><li> Experience supporting third-party integrators through documentation, technical support, troubleshooting, and analyzing symbolicated crash reports. </li><li> Strong testing mindset, using tests as a design tool rather than simply a validation step; experience with property-based or mutation testing is a plus. </li><li> Excellent technical writing skills, with experience creating ADRs, changelogs, migration guides, and developer documentation. </li><li> Comfortable reviewing code across Android and iOS, with the ability to identify lifecycle, concurrency, and threading issues. </li><li> Strong experience with AI-assisted development and coding agents, with the ability to thoroughly review, validate, and explain AI-generated code before it reaches production. </li></ul><ul><li> iOS </li><li> Shipping and maintaining an iOS library/SDK consumed by third parties and distributed through SPM or CocoaPods. </li><li> Production experience with Swift 6 concurrency, including actors, Sendable, and structured concurrency. </li><li> Building or maintaing app extensions, ideally a Notification Service Extension. </li><li> Hands-on experience with XCFrameworks, code signing, dSYMs, and privacy manifests. </li><li> Android </li><li> Shipping and maintaining an Android library/SDK consumed by third parties and distributed through Maven Central. </li><li> Experience with consumer ProGuard/R8 rules and JNI/NDK, including native library packaging across ABIs. </li><li> Production experience with Android lifecycle and background execution, including process death, Doze, background restrictions, and WorkManager. </li><li> Strong TypeScript experience, including at least one published npm package. </li><li> Experience building React Native native modules using the New Architecture. </li></ul>AI Proficiency <ul><li> Minimum Level: L5 — Advanced proficiency in AI-assisted software development, using AI for coding, code review, testing, debugging, and optimization. </li><li> Expected: Uses AI effectively to improve development speed, code quality, and engineering efficiency. </li><li> Hands-on experience with Claude Code , including skill files, commands, and structured prompts. </li><li> Understands context separation and sub-agents and knows when to use them for complex or parallel tasks. </li><li> Critically reviews and validates all AI-generated code before production use. </li></ul>Craft & Toolkit <ul><li> Mobile SDK & Library Development </li><li> Public API Design & Versioning </li><li> iOS & Android Platform Expertise </li><li> Native Build & Package Management </li><li> FFI & Native Interoperability </li><li> Mobile Lifecycle & Background Execution </li><li> Third-Party Integration & Support </li><li> Testing & Quality Engineering </li><li> Technical Documentation </li><li> AI-Assisted Software Development </li></ul>Character Traits <ul><li> Analytical thinking and problem-solving – approach problems clearly, use data, and find solutions. </li><li> Ownership and accountability – take responsibility and follow projects through to completion. </li><li> Communication – explain ideas clearly and listen to others across teams. </li><li> Collaboration – work well with others and support team goals. </li><li> Adaptability and learning – adjust to change and keep learning new skills or tools. </li><li> Mentorship and knowledge sharing – help others grow and share what you know. </li><li> Resilience – stay calm under pressure and handle setbacks constructively. </li><li> Quality and attention to detail – do work carefully and strive for improvement. </li><li> Advocacy and innovation – encourage best practices, efficiency, and new ideas </li></ul> As a Unifone you’ll receive a range of benefits: <ul><li> Competitive salary and bonus </li><li> Unifonic share scheme (we are all owners!) </li><li> 30 holiday days after the first anniversary </li><li> Your Birthday off! </li><li> Spend up to 25 days per year working from anywhere in the world! </li><li> Paid leave for new parents</li></ul>

Who Are We We Are Foodics! a leading restaurant management ecosystem and payment tech provider. Also Foodics has achieved three rounds of funding, with the latest raising $170 million in the largest SaaS funding round in MENA, boosting its innovation capabilities to better serve business owners.About the role We are growing our engineering team and are looking for a technically strong Engineering Manager to lead one of our delivery teams.
