Postgraduate qualification in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is an advantage. Typically, 8–12 years of progressive manufacturing experience, including at least 3–5 years in a plant management, production management, or comparable operational leadership role. Demonstrated experience managing a manufacturing plant or a large and complex production operation. Experience in chemicals, construction materials, cementitious products, admixtures, coatings, or a comparable process-manufacturing industry is highly preferred. Proven record of delivering measurable improvements in safety, quality, productivity, cost, and operational performance. Experience leading multidisciplinary teams, including production, maintenance, quality, warehouse, and HSE functions. Practical experience with budgeting, cost control, capital expenditure, workforce planning, and plant performance management. Experience with continuous improvement methodologies, including 5S, Lean Manufacturing, or structured problem-solving techniques, is preferred. Automation & Process Optimization<br>• Design and implement automation solutions integrated with factory digital systems<br>• Support continuous improvement initiatives using digital tools, ensuring alignment with global standards<br>5. Digital Project Management<br>• Lead or support digital transformation projects, with a strong focus on solution deployment, rollout, and scaling<br>• Coordinate with global digital teams, internal stakeholders, and external vendors for successful implementation<br>• Drive replication of successful digital use cases across lines and factories<br>6. Cybersecurity & Compliance<br>• Ensure all digital systems comply with corporate IT and cybersecurity policies<br>• Maintain data integrity, system reliability, and secure data flows across integrated platforms<br>• Support audits related to digital systems, data governance, and application security<br>• Ensure business continuity and maintain ownership of digital assets and backups<br>7. Training & Change Management<br>• Train and coach factory teams on digital tools, standards, and best practices<br>• Act as a digital champion to drive effective utilization of systems and applications<br>• Promote a strong digital culture and ensure sustainability of implemented solutions<br>• Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement for digital tools<br><b>Experiences & Qualifications</b><ul><li><span>1–2 years of relevant experience</span></li><li><span>Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field</span></li><li><span>Basic knowledge of PLCs and industrial automation systems</span></li><li><span>Understanding of IoT fundamentals and industrial communication protocols (e.g., OPC)</span></li><li><span>Knowledge of network fundamentals and industrial connectivity</span></li><li><span>Basic programming skills</span></li><li><span>Familiarity with programming languages such as C# or Python</span></li><li><span>Exposure to Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)</span></li></ul><br>Unilever embraces diversity and encourages applicates from all walks of life!
