We drive changes in practice and policy at local, national and global levels using our reach, experience and knowledge. For over 85 years, we have rallied other determined optimists to transform the lives of all children in more than 80 countries. We won t stop until we are all equal. Scaling Up Economic Empowerment and Systemic Integration is a three-year project (July 2026 June 2029) funded by the Ursula Zindel-Hilti Foundation (UZHF). The project aims to enhance the resilience and socioeconomic empowerment of vulnerable women and men within supportive and inclusive communities. The initiative focuses on strengthening collaboration between Plan International Egypt (PIE) and Ashoka Arab World (AAW) to achieve sustainable, community-driven impact. It engages social entrepreneurs, community leaders, and community-based organizations (CBOs) as key agents of change. The project will be implemented across four governorates: Assiut, Sohag, Beheira, and Damietta, targeting marginalized groups through integrated and inclusive economic empowerment interventions. A total of 24 partner CBOs will be supported through comprehensive institutional capacity building, governance strengthening, and tailored technical assistance provided by PIE. In parallel, these CBOs will participate in social entrepreneurship training delivered by AAW, equipping them with innovative tools and approaches to design and implement effective, community-based solutions. Following the capacity-building phase, CBOs will be empowered to design, implement, and manage local initiatives, with continued technical guidance and financial support from both PIE and AAW. At the community level, the project will directly target 1,600 beneficiaries, contributing to improved livelihoods and inclusive economic participation. The project is designed across 4 main outcomes: Outcome 1: Strengthened capacities of community actors, and CBOs as key drivers of change within the targeted communities. Outcome 2: Fostered influence and engagement of social entrepreneurs, youth emerging changemakers, and CBOs are across the targeted locations, as evidenced by the development and implementation of inclusive, community-based socioeconomic initiatives benefiting vulnerable women and youth. Outcome 3 Enhanced resilience of 1,600 women, youth, and men across the targeted locations through expanded and equitable access to sustainable socio-economic opportunities, contributing to inclusive growth and long-term socioeconomic empowerment. THE OPPORTUNITY You will support the implementation of the Scaling Up Economic Empowerment and Systemic Integration project. You will focus on supporting the coordination of capacity-building activities, partnerships, and community-based interventions aimed at strengthening the capacities of partner CBOs and enhancing livelihood opportunities for vulnerable groups, particularly girls and young women. You will work closely with Plan International Egypt teams, partner organizations, and local stakeholders, support the delivery of training and social entrepreneurship activities, follow-up on mentorship processes, and ensure effective coordination and communication among all partners. Partnering</b><br><ul><li>Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to drive financial performance and support commercial decision-making.</li><li>Drive value creation through actionable financial insights supporting commercial and operational decision-making.</li><li>Analyze gross margin performance by product, segment, and customer.</li><li>Conduct margin sensitivity and scenario analysis to assess impact of cost changes on profitability.</li><li>Provide detailed COGS analysis including base oil price fluctuations, blending costs, and logistics expenses.</li><li>Monitor production/blending performance and cost variances vs standards.</li><li>Support Annual business planning and monthly Rolling Forecast (RF) with robust assumptions and analytics.</li></ul><br><b>General Accounting</b><br><ul><li>Ensure proper, accurate and timely recording of all accounting journal entries (e.g., sales, purchases, other cost/income and non-cash standard entries).</li><li>Preparing monthly reporting package and ensuring accurate upload of financial data on reporting module.</li><li>Support in the preparation and issuance of statutory financial statements in collaboration with external audit.</li><li>Ensure Balance Sheet Integrity "BSA" through monthly extensive deep dive reviews and GL reconciliations.</li><li>Prepare monthly balance sheet and profit & loss analysis (MI pack), including quarterly balance sheet review deck.</li><li>Support preparation of the Annual Plan and RF submissions.</li><li>Preparation of Due Diligence pack in addition to ensuring smooth closures of open topics.</li></ul><br><b>Fixed Assets & Inventory</b><br><ul><li>Record fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions.</li><li>Conduct periodic impairment reviews for intangible assets.</li><li>Prepare audit schedules relating to fixed assets and assist the external auditors in their inquiries.</li><li>Ensure the accuracy of inventory numbers by monitoring inventory levels, conducting regular audits and reconciliations, and correcting discrepancies.</li><li>Prepare inventory reports for management, including inventory valuation, variance analysis, and cost of goods sold.</li><li>Initiate the costing cycle, inventory revaluations and standard costing as per the company's Product Costing and Transfer Pricing guidelines.</li></ul><br><b>Accounts Payable & Intercompany </b><br><ul><li>Processing of vendor invoices/advance payments and ensuring settlements as per contractual and credit terms applied.</li><li>Ensure the execution of a periodic payment cycle and respond to vendors' queries and follow-ups.</li><li>Process employee travel and expense reports.</li><li>Recording IC invoices and ensuring Inter-company reconciliation are in place including resolving of mismatches & IC balance differences.</li></ul><br><b>Accounts Receivable & Credit Control</b><br><ul><li>Drive improvements in working capital including receivables, inventory, and payables.</li><li>Monitor cash flow drivers and recommend actions to improve liquidity.</li><li>Perform monthly aging analysis in addition to extensive monitoring of bad debt exposure and report any risk to management.</li><li>Coordinate with the Regional Credit Function to ensure compliance to the group credit policies.</li></ul><br><b>Tax</b><br><ul><li>Working with the tax consultants to ensure tax compliance and on-time tax filings.</li></ul><br><b>Treasury</b><br><ul><li>Prepare the monthly bank reconciliations.</li><li>Coordinate with BP Treasury for timely processing of cheques and wire transfers.</li><li>Manage relationships with financial service providers.</li></ul><br><b>Internal Control</b><br><ul><li>Ensure adequate internal controls are in place & operating as intended to manage any financial exposure.</li><li>Ensure compliance with Minimum Control Expectations (MCE)</li><li>Maintain Egypt's Delegation of Authority while ensuring compliance.</li><li>Working with Supply Chain team to ensure completeness of cycle counts and annual physical counts.</li></ul><br><b>Desirable criteria & qualifications</b><br><ul><li>Recognized national or international professional financial management / accountancy qualification with extensive years post <span><br>POSITION SUMMARY<br>Our Utility Cleaners play an important role in support of a number of vital hotel functions. At our hotels these associates may work across departments (e.g., kitchen, food and beverage, laundry) to support cleaning needs. Whether preparing fresh clean linen and spotless dining ware for guests to enjoy, operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and tools (e.g., dish washing machines, hand wash stations, linen washers and dryers), or transporting dishware or linens across the hotel, these associates do whatever it takes to get the job done.<br>No matter what position you are in, there are a few things that are critical to success – creating a safe workplace, following company policies and procedures, upholding quality standards, and ensuring your uniform, personal appearance, and communications are professional.
