Accurately take orders for food and beverages, clearly communicating guest preferences, dietary restrictions, and special requests. Provide guests with information about the menu, including daily specials, promotional offers, and wine or food pairings. Confirm the order with the guest to ensure accuracy and make any necessary adjustments or substitutions. Input guest orders into the hotel’s POS (Point of Sale) system in a timely and accurate manner. Maintain a detailed understanding of the hotel’s in-room dining menu and keep up-to-date with any menu changes or promotions. Take note of guest preferences, including specific delivery times, food allergies, and any special instructions (e.g., food temperature, specific condiments).
