Remote | Anywhere in the Middle East & Africa Who we are Ridge Point is the regional operating arm for B2B software vendors expanding into the Middle East and Africa. Our current practice is built around the Microsoft estate: we bring specialist software to organizations that run their business on Windows, Microsoft 365 and Azure, and we help them get the full return on that investment. We are the Master Distributor for Recast Software across MEA, our anchor partnership. You will sell both Recast product lines: Right Click Tools for endpoint management and automation, and Application Workspace for application delivery. Data and workspace governance and process automation are next on our roadmap, and the person in this role will help decide which vendors we bring in. Our customers include central banks, energy majors and government authorities, and we reach them directly and through a partner network of resellers, MSPs and system integrators that we are building out across the region. We are a small team, deliberately. Everyone here is close to the customer and close to the vendors. If you want to be a name on an org chart, this isn’t for you. If you want to be the person a CIO calls before a decision is made, read on. Why this role is different This is a hunting role. You won’t inherit a book; you’ll build one, winning new logos across the region through direct sales and through partners. And you’ll win them by earning a seat at the customer’s table. Our customers don’t need another rep quoting SKUs. They need someone who can look at their Microsoft estate end to end, from the endpoint to the tenant to the workflow, and see where value is being left behind. Devices that aren’t fully under control. Workspaces nobody owns. Approvals that take three weeks because they run on email. You will know which solution in our portfolio addresses which problem, how they fit together, and when the honest answer is “that’s not something we should sell you.”You will build your own book of new logos and the partners who help you land them. Winning the logo is the start: the accounts you open should get more out of Microsoft every year, not sign once and go quiet. What you’ll do Hunt and win new enterprise logos across MEA: build your own pipeline, open doors with CIOs and IT leadership, and run every deal from first conversation to signature and expansion Drive new business through two routes: direct sales into enterprise and public-sector accounts, and partnerships with resellers, MSPs and system integrators who take us into accounts we can’t reach alone Recruit and activate partners in your territory, build joint account plans, and co-sell alongside them until they can win on their own Sell Recast Right Click Tools and Application Workspace, on their own and together: know where each one fits, who owns the budget for it, and when a customer needs one, the other or both Act as a trusted advisor on the customer’s Microsoft estate, starting with endpoint management, automation and application delivery through Recast today, and extending into Microsoft 365 governance and process automation as our portfolio grows Map each customer’s Microsoft value chain and identify the gaps, then match the right vendor, module or partner service to each one Qualify and run every opportunity with MEDDIC: know the metrics that matter to the customer, who holds the budget, how the decision gets made, what pain we’re solving, and who inside the account is championing us. If any of those are blank, the deal isn’t real yet Learn multiple products deeply enough to run discovery, position the right solution, and hand off cleanly to our technical team for demos and workshops Manage the full commercial cycle: forecasting, quoting, negotiation, procurement in regulated and public-sector environments, and reseller coordination Orchestrate resellers, system integrators and vendor HQs so the customer sees one team, not four Bring field insight back into how we choose vendors, price, and build partner programs. What you learn in Doha should shape how we sell in Riyadh Keep our CRM and customer portal current, because a small team covering a large territory lives or dies on clean information What you bring4 to 8 years in B2B software sales with a track record of new-logo wins, ideally through a distributor, VAR or ISV in the Microsoft ecosystem Evidence you can build pipeline from a standing start: outbound, events, referrals, partner-sourced. Tell us how you did it, not just that you did Hands-on experience qualifying and forecasting with MEDDIC (or MEDDPICC). You should be able to walk through a live deal using it without notes Working knowledge of Microsoft endpoint management (Config Mgr, Intune, Entra) and of how enterprises package and deliver applications. This is the core of what you’ll sell. Microsoft 365 governance (Share Point, Teams, Purview) or Power Platform is a plus. You don’t need to be an engineer, but you need to hold a credible conversation with one Experience selling endpoint management, application delivery or IT automation software is a strong plus Proven ability to learn new products quickly and explain how several of them combine into one outcome for the customer Experience winning deals through partners, recruiting and activating new ones, and navigating procurement in the GCC or Africa Fluent English is a must. Arabic is a strong advantage and will rank you higher. French is a plus for francophone Africa Fully remote from anywhere in the Middle East or Africa, with the right to work in your country of residence and regular travel to customers, partners and the team Who you are (this matters as much as the CV) Curious by default. You ask “why” before “how much”A self-starting hunter. Nobody hands you a territory full of warm leads, and you prefer it that way Comfortable saying no. If a customer wants something that won’t help them, you say so, and bring an alternative You think in systems. A first deal is one node in a customer’s three-year Microsoft roadmap, not a transaction Low ego, high ownership. We’re small enough that you’ll work outside your job title, and that’s the point You’d rather change how sales is done than repeat it. We’re building a model where the account executive is part of the customer’s success team, not a visitor. If that sounds like you, we want to talk How to apply Skip the cover letter. Send your CV to careers@ridgepoint.me with one paragraph on a new logo you won from a cold start: how you got in, who helped you, and what it grew into.

The International Water Management Institute (IWMI) is an international non-profit, research-for-development organization that works with governments, civil society, and private sector organizations to address water-related challenges in developing countries and scale up solutions.
IWMI is headquartered in Colombo, Sri Lanka, and is a CGIAR research center with offices in 15 countries and a global network of researchers operating in approximately 56 countries.
IWMI is implementing a regional project focused on Resilient Nature-Based Water Solutions (RNBWS) in Jordan, Egypt, Palestine, and Lebanon.
Related projects are also being implemented in Iraq, Bangladesh, and Sudan.
The projects include environmental, agricultural, and social interventions, including the following examples: Solar-powered irrigation systems for agriculture in Egypt.
A small-scale food processing enterprise supporting rural women and smallholder female farmers, known as Nawalla.
Rehabilitation of irrigation canals and springs.
A training manual on gender-transformative curricula, including the delivery of the associated training course.
As part of its strategy to mobilize innovative finance and scale these interventions, IWMI seeks to explore the tokenization of these assets as digital instruments.
Tokenization—the process of representing ownership or value rights of real-world assets on a blockchain or distributed ledger—may offer potential pathways for attracting impact investors, improving transparency, and enabling fractional ownership.
Given the nascent and evolving legal and regulatory landscape for digital assets across Jordan, Egypt, Palestine, Bangladesh, and Sudan, specialized legal and regulatory expertise is required to assess feasibility, structure compliant instruments, and guide the token issuance process.
OBJECTIVE OF THE ASSIGNMENT: The objective of this consultancy is to provide technical advisory services to the Al Murunah and Al Murunah+ projects to assess the feasibility of, and develop a business model and roadmap for, the tokenization of the projects’ nature-based solution assets in Jordan, Egypt, and Palestine.
The Consultant is expected to advise IWMI on the selection of assets for tokenization, identify the potential benefits and incentives of tokenization, and deliver actionable guidance on structuring compliant digital asset instruments in accordance with applicable national laws and relevant international frameworks.
The assignment will be considered successful if, upon its completion, IWMI is able to make an informed Go/No-Go decision on piloting tokenization in at least one priority jurisdiction, supported by a legally compliant structuring option, a documented risk framework, and enhanced internal staff capacity to engage credibly with regulators and investors.
The consultancy will also demonstrate the potential value of tokenization through the following outcomes: Improved access to impact investment: Tokenization will enable owners of assets, such as solar-powered irrigation systems, the Nawalla food processing enterprise, and rehabilitated irrigation canals, to attract a broader pool of impact investors by representing these assets as digital instruments.
Fractional ownership: Tokenization enables assets to be divided into smaller, investable units, lowering the entry barrier for investors and potentially broadening the funding base significantly.
This is particularly relevant to strengthening women’s ownership of assets and enhancing their ability to use those assets as collateral.
Transparency and accountability: Blockchain-based instruments improve the traceability of how funds are utilized and how assets perform, thereby informing IWMI’s engagement with future donors and investors.
Scalability: A proven tokenization model in Jordan, Egypt, and Palestine could be replicated in other project countries, including Iraq, Bangladesh, and Sudan, thereby multiplying its impact.
Intellectual property (IP) monetization: Explore how non-physical outputs, such as the gender-transformative training manual, could generate ongoing revenue through tokenized licensing and royalty structures.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Task 1: Inception Meeting The Consultant will hold a brief inception meeting with the Al Murunah/Al Murunah+ project teams to provide a baseline understanding of tokenization and the expected deliverables throughout the duration of the assignment.
This meeting will also be used to test and refine the asset selection criteria.
Task 2: Overall Regulatory Landscape Assessment Conduct a rapid and comprehensive review of the legal and regulatory environment for digital assets and tokenization in Jordan, Egypt, and Palestine, covering: Applicable securities, financial instruments, and fintech legislation in each jurisdiction.
Central bank regulations and digital asset frameworks (including regulatory sandbox programs, where available).
Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements relevant to digital asset issuance.
Cross-border digital asset transaction rules applicable to the three countries.
Gaps, risks, and enabling conditions within each regulatory environment.
Task 3: Establish Asset Selection Criteria Work with the project team to gain a better understanding of the available assets and establish a structured asset evaluation framework.
Provide an analysis and recommendations for structuring a business model for one or more of the following assets as tokenized digital instruments: Solar-powered irrigation systems: Assess options for tokenizing physical infrastructure assets (e.
g., revenue-sharing tokens and asset-backed tokens).
Food processing enterprise (Nawalla): Assess options for equity-like or utility token structures representing operational value or returns.
Spring and/or irrigation canal rehabilitation.
Training manual: Assess intellectual property (IP) tokenization options, including licensing rights and royalty structures.
For each asset, the analysis should identify the most appropriate token type (utility, security, or hybrid), legal vehicle, and jurisdiction for issuance.
Task 4: Develop a Business Model for Tokenization For the selected assets, design a business model for tokenization, followed by an online consultative meeting with the project team.
Develop a compliance framework for the digital asset issuance process, including: Investor eligibility and accreditation requirements for each jurisdiction.
Disclosure and prospectus obligations (where applicable).
Information requirements related to the identified interventions.
Data protection and cybersecurity considerations.
Environmental and social safeguard requirements linked to nature-based solutions standards.
A risk register identifying key legal, regulatory, and reputational risks.
Task 5: Tokenization Roadmap / Implementation Plan Prepare a phased implementation roadmap for the tokenization of the identified assets, including: Recommended sequencing of asset tokenization (short-, medium-, and long-term).
Priority jurisdiction(s) for piloting the first token issuance.
Key milestones required regulatory approvals, and estimated timelines.
Guidance on platform selection criteria (permissioned vs.
public blockchain and applicable technology standards).
Recommended legal documentation, including term sheets, smart contract legal wrappers, and investor agreements.
Presentation of the roadmap and recommendations to IWMI, followed by the formal close-out of the assignment.
DELIVERABLES: Inception Workshop and Presentation Draft - Includes an introduction to tokenization, its benefits, and how it can be applied within Nature-Based Solutions (NBS), as well as the proposed work plan, methodology, and stakeholder engagement plan for the assignment.
Overall Regulatory Landscape Assessment Report (Jordan, Egypt, and Palestine) - A comprehensive assessment of the legal and regulatory landscape governing digital assets and tokenization in the three target countries.
Asset Analysis and Legal Structuring Options Report - A report analyzing each asset class, the asset selection criteria, and the legal structuring options for each asset class, followed by a brief presentation of the findings.
Business Model and Compliance Framework - Development of the tokenization business model, compliance framework, and risk register, followed by a brief presentation of the findings.
Tokenization Roadmap and Recommendations Report - A comprehensive implementation roadmap and recommendations report, followed by a close-out presentation.
This is an internationally recruited consultancy position, therefore individuals with relevant qualifications and experience are encouraged to apply.
The contract duration is five and a half (05.
5)
