If you are a qualified and compassionate Occupational Health Nurse looking to contribute to employee well-being in a dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply.<span> </span></span>Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications:</p><p></p><p><b>ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF SITE NURSE:</b></p><ul><li><p>Preventive Health Care</p></li><li><p>Curative Health Care</p></li><li><p>Promotive Health Care</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>1. Preventive Health Care:</b></p><ul><li><p>Assisting Medical Leader/Occupational Health Physician in pre-employment & periodic medical checkup,</p></li><li><p>Carry out various occupational health related tests & keep proper record of them like-audiometry, Lung function test etc. as deemed necessary by Medical leader,</p></li><li><p>To give health related awareness to employees by various trainings and events,</p></li><li><p>Assist in rehabilitation and return to work programs,</p></li><li><p>Implementation of strong and qualitative vaccination programs,</p></li><li><p>Arrangement, co-ordination and proper implementation of health diagnostic campaigns,</p></li><li><p>Participate in ergonomic assessments of the workplace & trainings,</p></li><li><p>Conduct monthly workplace inspections including equipment checks for basic and advanced life support,</p></li><li><p>Work in a multi-disciplinary team with HS&E, HR and Management to promote employee health safety and well-being,</p></li><li><p>Review employees’ medical cases who have any one period exceeding 3 days sickness absence,</p></li><li><p>Give training of first aid, basic life support with AED, industrial hygiene, safe food handling, and other trainings under guidance of occupational health physician. Prepare training data & identify target audience for all these trainings,</p></li><li><p>Take active part in various mock drills, rescue drills and live demonstrations,</p></li><li><p>Proper implementation of emergency medical plan in case of emergencies,</p></li><li><p>Liaise with managers and site Occupational Health Physician in managing the sickness absence cases facilitating appropriate referrals,</p></li><li><p>Track, schedule & conduct appropriate regular medical testing for P&G employees in critical roles, i.e. fork lift truck drivers, confined spaces,</p></li><li><p>Track, schedule & conduct relevant health surveillance to employees working with hazards i.e. spirometry, skin prick testing plus audiometry/vision testing at appropriate time intervals,</p></li><li><p>Ensure at risk employees are aware of the procedure to obtain post exposure prophylactic treatment in the event of an exposure incident,</p></li><li><p>Maintain record of vaccinations for employees needing it in relation to their responsibilities, (including but not limited to 1st aiders, healthcare team, food handlers, sewage handers, etc.),</p></li><li><p>Ensure that all wearers of respirators do have medical clearance by the site physician/occupational health physician,</p></li><li><p>Provide medical advice in relation to business travel,</p></li><li><p>Initiate, conduct & maintain a process for site health risk analysis & health needs analysis,</p></li></ul><p></p><p>2. Curative Health Care:</p><ul><li><p>First aid and emergency medical care to employees for injuries and illnesses,</p></li><li><p>Employee referral & co-ordination with hospitals and/or healthcare providers,</p></li><li><p>Follow up on employee cases referred to hospitals or specialists,</p></li></ul><p></p><p>3. Promotive Health Care:</p><ul><li><p>Implementation of health awareness promotional trainings and events,</p></li><li><p>Various Health Days celebration like World Diabetes Day, World Heart Day, Breast Cancer & Prostate Cancer Awareness Days, Occupational Health Day etc.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>There are some other criteria like legal requirements, audit compliance, local & regional need etc.</p><p></p><ul><li><p>Review pre-placement health assessment documentation completion, conduct any relevant screening and refer to physician if required for medical examination,</p></li><li><p>Keep her/his Medical knowledge up to date in terms of new technologies, new relevant medical equipment, health related laws, internal company regional and global health related policies & systems,</p></li><li><p>Compliance of audit as per local, regional and global requirements,</p></li><li><p>Adhere to HSKE (Health System Key Elements) requirements and other organizational rules and regulations,</p></li><li><p>Ensure that all relevant confidentiality & PII handling rules are followed rigorously amongst all site medical team, as well as safekeep company proprietary and business data,</p></li><li><p>Proper use of medical instruments and facilities, as well as ensuring functionality, timely maintenance of relevant devices as well as ensure proper use by contracted physicians,</p></li><li><p>Ensure that all employees do have a medical record with pertinent information and updated always. Ensure that other contractor or non-P&G employee categories do have pertinent data,</p></li><li><p>Record keeping & maintenance: Ensure that all medical records are well kept and organized, and retention limits are according to P&G guidelines & local laws</p></li><li><p>Follow medical guidance of company Medical Leader and site occupational health physician as per the business need,</p></li><li><p>Advise employees and managers regarding work-related health issues,</p></li><li><p>Participate in the site disability management process as stipulated by site physician.</p></li></ul><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:left\"><b>Job Qualifications</b></p><p><b>Prerequisites</b></p><ul><li><p>The Site Nurse is a qualified, certified and currently licensed Nurse by the country specific laws in which he/she operates.</p></li><li><p>The site nurse reports directly to the employed Country Health Systems Leader/Physician or in lack of this to Country HR while also in lack of this functionally to the sub-regional / regional Health Systems Manager or Medical Leader.</p></li><li><p>Medium to advanced fluency in English language is a must.</p></li><li><p>Occupational Health qualification or desire to working towards Occupational Health qualification is strongly desired (as per country nursing curriculum availability).</p></li><li><p>Highest nursing qualification level available in the country is an advantage.</p></li><li><p>Experience in one of the following medical competencies might be an advantage:</p></li><li><p>Occupational Health,</p></li><li><p>Emergency Management/Oxyology,</p></li><li><p>Intensive Care,</p></li><li><p>Ambulance/Paramedic,</p></li><li><p>Pulmonology,</p></li><li><p>Toxicology,</p></li><li><p>Outpatient Care in General Medicine,</p></li><li><p>Health Management roles or</p></li><li><p>working in an enterprise environment.</p></li><li><p>Detailed knowledge and familiarity with the country Health Care legislation is strongly desired.</p></li></ul><p></p><h2><b>JUST SO YOU KNOW:</b></h2><p>You will get a competitive compensation package, in line with your qualifications and experience.</p><p></p><p>We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
