JOB PURPOSE<br>Lead the mechanical engineering design for assigned projects, producing technically complete HVAC, fire fighting, and plumbing design packages that comply with Egyptian and international codes, while supporting site coordination and contractor management.<br> KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES<br>Perform HVAC design including load calculations (HAP/Trace 700), system selection, duct sizing, and equipment specification. Design fire fighting systems including sprinkler networks, fire hose reels, clean agent suppression, and fire pump stations. Design plumbing and drainage systems: potable water distribution, sanitary drainage, rainwater, and hot water systems. Produce complete mechanical drawing packages: floor plans, schematics, equipment schedules, and details. Perform mechanical equipment selection and prepare technical submittals for client and contractor review. Coordinate mechanical systems with structural and architectural teams to resolve space conflicts and penetrations. Review and comment on contractor mechanical shop drawings, equipment submittals, and material samples. Produce mechanical specifications for tender packages. Support site supervision during mechanical installation; conduct site inspections and issue NCRs. Respond to mechanical RFIs from site; prepare technical clarifications.
