<h4>Role purpose</h4>
<p>To plan, design, and implement fixed and mobile gateways networks according to Vodafone group guidelines and technology best practice.<br>
Handle advanced implementation tasks including design and configuration.<br>
Review team configuration changes to ensure successful implementation to network changes with minimum impact.<br>
Risk assessment for new fixed network changes and interact with technology change management to discuss in weekly CAB.<br>
Interact with decision support team to handle fixed networks business case.<br>
Drive the scaling of Vodafone IP/MPLS fixed network design for access, aggregation, and core layers to meet the demand of our customers.<br>
Provide designs and solutions for Vodafone domestic and international enterprise customers (daily designs, handovers, and validations), bringing those designs from concept to production.<br>
VPOP new design and supporting critical migration issues (from old to current VPOP setup).<br>
Provide high-level design (HLD) and low-level design (LLD) documents for enterprise customers with various access solutions and media types including fibre, copper, and wireless (EoSDH, GPON, ATM, EFM, microwave, WiMAX, and WiFi).<br>
Ensuring best design, interoperability, and enhancement of Vodafone broadband network which includes different vendors and different models within the vendor (i.e., Cisco ASR 9k, 1K, ASR920, GSR 12K, Catalyst Switches 2960, 2960x, ME 3400 & 3600, Huawei ATN 910I, ATN950B, Nokia BNG 7750SR).</p>
<h4>Key accountabilities & decision ownership</h4>
<ul>
<li>Develop and implement new services, technologies, studies, and mega projects in Vodafone network (i.e., IPv6, small cells, CGNAT, SDN, SDWAN, super Wi-Fi, Nokia FWA, BNG changes to meet external security requirements, ADSL fraud cases, STUN routing, enterprise anti-DDoS, enterprise SIP trunk, Amazon peering, EG-IX, WTTx).</li>
<li>Network enhancement, renovation, network nodes scaling, assessment, and implementation to provide the best network availability and scalability (i.e., high-capacity cards study and implementations, new software versions to support new features, special customer requests like IPv4 and IPv6 full routing tables receiving).</li>
<li>Select and test different new hardware (routers, switches, etc.) and software according to network modernization and to meet our customer’s requirements.</li>
<li>Act as a reference point for presales, planning, implementation, and operation teams to offer smooth end-to-end service flow.</li>
<li>Handle advanced technical part in fixed network (RFI and RFQ) and risk assessment for new fixed network changes and interact with technology change management to discuss in weekly CAB.</li>
<li>Make sure that design of fixed network is meeting all Vodafone group guidelines and technology best practice.</li>
<li>Review network design (periodically or due to escalated complaints from operation teams), highlight issues and implement fixes.</li>
<li>FNIs and lab testing for all network layers upgrades, new services, security guidelines.</li>
<li>Handling security stream requests (hardening and vulnerabilities – scan every 2 months); validating and evaluating requests, vendor consulting, lab testing, and FNIs on all network layers (per vendor).</li>
<li>Introduce innovative ideas and new products and services to enrich Vodafone wallet for enterprise and consumer business in cooperation with commercial team.</li>
<li>Drive the end-to-end architecture for the new products and services for Vodafone Egypt’s enterprise and consumer business, and support in shortening its go-to-market time and beating the competition.</li>
<li>Being up to date with the latest technologies in the fixed domain and keeping fixed transport networks team up to date with latest strategic trends in enterprise fixed domain.</li>

<h4>Core competencies, knowledge, and experience</h4>
<ul>
<li>Experience in deployment, implementation, and managing network devices such as Cisco, Juniper, Huawei, and Nokia.</li>
<li>Preferred experience in F5 load balancers configuration.</li>
<li>More than 5 years’ experience in IP technology and network field.</li>
<li>Experience in hardware specs (Cisco, Juniper, Huawei, and Nokia).</li>
<li>Experience in IGWs mobile, fixed, and ON.</li>
<li>Experience in data roaming gateways setup and GRX providers NNIs.</li>
<li>Experience in GPON/XGPON setup (HLD and LLD) technology.</li>

<p><strong>About The Role</strong></p><br><p>You will own the day-to-day execution of statutory audits, regulatory reporting, and financial filings across Thndr's group entities, making sure every deadline is met, every submission is accurate, and every audit and regulator query is driven through to resolution.</p><br><p>You'll work closely with the Accounting, Control & Tax Manager, who owns the technical positions and final sign-off, while you take ownership of making the process happen: coordinating auditors, managing PBC requests, preparing statutory accounts and supporting schedules, tracking regulatory deadlines, and maintaining the reconciliations and documentation behind each entity's financials.</p><br><p>This is also a build role. As Thndr continues to expand across markets and regulated entities, you'll help create the trackers, templates, working paper standards, and processes that make reporting more reliable and scalable. <br>We are seeking a Core Monitoring Engineering Specialist to design, implement, support and continuously enhance enterprise monitoring platforms that serve Vodafone Group and local markets globally. <p>As a site mechanical equipment construction field engineer you will be responsible for providing input, support and guidance on the mechanical equipment and components installation to the site construction supervision team of Worley and subcontractors, providing direct interface with the customer and their personnel.</p>
<h4>Duties and responsibilities</h4>
<ul>
<li>Represents Worley at internal and external meetings on the project.</li>
<li>Contributes to the development and implementation of Worley systems and procedures for the project and performs work in accordance with Worley internal processes and procedures.</li>
<li>Reports on project technical scope performance against the baseline plan.</li>
<li>Assists in ensuring that no technical changes are implemented without prior approval as per EPC contract procedure and regulatory requirements.</li>
<li>Reviews project technical documents for compliance with mechanical equipment, components and welding codes and standards, contract requirements, results of previous design stages, etc. under the direction of the site mechanical construction supervision lead.</li>
<li>Provides review results in the agreed form and within established deadlines.</li>
<li>Provides technical support to the mechanical construction supervision lead and site construction supervision team on issues related to equipment and components installation.</li>
<li>Monitors construction, installation and testing of NPP’s mechanical equipment and associated systems; develops comments pertaining to non-compliance with design.</li>
<li>Provides support to engineering team in the design and safety analysis according to international and local regulation and standards.</li>
<li>Participates in safety and hazard assessments for mechanical equipment and components and welding processes and systems.</li>
<li>Reviews as-built design documents and modification of mechanical equipment and components systems.</li>
<li>Reviews, comments and prepares drafts of client correspondence pertaining to mechanical equipment, components and welding systems and processes.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Experience and qualifications</h4>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical engineering.</li>
<li>Strong technical skills.</li>
<li>8+ years of experience in mechanical equipment, components and welding on large scale projects and/or in nuclear power plant development.</li>
<li>Nuclear experience is required.</li>
<li>Knowledge of Russian nuclear codes for welding process is desirable.</li>
<li>Recognized as having a specialized depth or breadth of expertise.</li>
</ul>

<p>As Nuclear Engineering Lead you will be responsible to lead the Nuclear Engineering function of Worley team and subcontractors providing direct interface with the customer and their personnel.</p>
<ul>
<li>Organizes and leads Worley Nuclear Engineering team to help the customer ensure the project is effectively and technically developed to meet the contract and standards requirements, local and international codes, timeline and budget during all project phases – design, installation, testing and commissioning.</li>
<li>Responsible for providing the necessary technical support and input to Worley Project Manager and team.</li>
<li>Represents Worley Nuclear Engineering at internal and external meetings on the project.</li>
<li>Ensures Worley Nuclear Engineering systems and procedures are developed and rolled out for the project and work is performed in accordance with Worley internal processes and procedures.</li>
<li>Responsible for ensuring that no technical changes are implemented without prior approval as per EPC contract procedure and regulatory requirements.</li>
<li>Ensures that the Worley technical team and any 3rd party subcontractors adhere to the overall project execution plan and project quality.</li>
<li>Performs reviews of safety analysis report (PSAR, FSAR) and PSA related documentation.</li>
<li>Reviews design basis documents and calculations pertaining to vendor design.</li>
<li>Reviews nuclear safety assessments.</li>
<li>Reviews safety and hazard assessments for nuclear processes and systems.</li>
<li>Monitors construction of NPPs; develops comments pertaining to non-compliance with design.</li>
<li>Reviews as-built design drawings and modification of nuclear systems.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Experience and qualifications</h4>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nuclear Engineering is a must.</li>
<li>Minimum of 10 years experience in the nuclear sector, with senior management responsibilities over corporate functions, including at least one role as Senior Manager, Head or Deputy Head of the Reactor shop, or NPP Shift supervisor in a nuclear operating organisation.</li>
<li>Strong technical skills; 10+ years of experience in nuclear engineering on large scale projects and management of multi-cultural teams.</li>
</ul>
