Role Description The World History Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based in Giza. The teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging World History lessons, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback to support learning. Daily tasks include preparing lesson materials, implementing curriculum goals, managing the classroom, and maintaining clear communication with students, guardians, and school leadership. The role involves participating in department meetings, contributing to curriculum development, and attending school events and professional development sessions. The teacher is expected to promote inclusive practices, encourage critical thinking, and foster a respectful classroom atmosphere that supports diverse learners. Qualifications Strong subject matter expertise in World History and History Education, with the ability to present historical content in an engaging and accurate manner. Knowledge of American History to provide comparative perspectives and enrich student understanding of global historical contexts. Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development, including designing assessments and instructional materials aligned with school standards. Relevant teaching credentials or degree in History, Education, or a related field, with classroom teaching experience at the appropriate grade level. Effective classroom management skills, clear communication, and the ability to support diverse learning needs in an inclusive environment. Commitment to ongoing professional development, collaboration with colleagues, and participation in school-wide initiatives.
