The tasks required:
Receiving products from the factory or other warehouses or receiving staff, inspecting them and ensuring they meet specifications, safety, suitability, and expiration dates before entering the warehouse. Moving products to designated storage locations safely to ensure their integrity during internal transport. Storing and arranging products inside the warehouse according to approved policies, adhering to storage systems such as FIFO, FEFO, and ABC depending on item nature. Organizing palletizing operations and efficiently utilizing storage spaces, placing clear identification tags on shelves and items, while keeping aisles safe and free of obstructions. Separating defective, non-conforming, or expired products from good ones, and notifying supervisor or warehouse management to take necessary actions. Maintaining daily cleanliness and tidiness of the warehouse and work area, ensuring it is free from causes of damage or hazards. Monitoring stock movement and updating its records (electronic or manual) to ensure data accuracy. Issuing products to requesting parties or sales agents according to approved procedures, with complete documentation and required signatures. Conducting periodic inventory and reconciling actual stock with records, reporting any variances or observations. Monitoring stock levels and informing warehouse management of items nearing depletion or already dispatched to ensure timely reordering. Keeping all warehouse documents (receipts, disbursals, stock counts, etc.) organized for easy reference. Reorganizing items as needed according to management instructions or operational and seasonal changes. Coordinating and collaborating with sales, receiving, disbursement, and other departments to meet business needs efficiently. Adhering to occupational safety and health procedures, maintaining storage equipment and shelves, and reporting any faults or maintenance needs or space shortages. Reports required Daily report on completion of receiving, storage and palletizing tasks. Report on defective, stacked, or potentially damaged products. Inventory audit results report and discrepancies (upon implementation). Report on items nearing depletion or needing reordering. Report on shelf and equipment faults or maintenance needs.
