<p>Use appropriate rescue techniques if observing swimmers in need of assistance. Observe the swimming area for dangerous conditions, unusual or unsafe activities, and swimmers who are struggling. Promote the rules and regulations of the recreation facility. Be aware of possible situations where guests are not able to safely participate in an activity and inform supervisor/manager. Provide assistance to injured guests until the arrival of emergency medical services. Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests. Obtain, fold, and stack towels according to company procedures. BRE manages the full operational infrastructure of the resort across over 1,000 delivered residential units, common areas, and resort facilities.<br><br>The Role<br><br>BRE has an established FM operation in place and is seeking a Director of Facilities Management to take command of it. The mandate is clear: lead the existing team, sharpen processes, and deliver a measurable uplift in service quality across all functions.<br><br>Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role suits a seasoned operator who knows how to assess what's working, fix what isn't, and drive a team toward higher standards. <br><br>Key Responsibilities:<br><br>Housekeeping <br>- Take full ownership of the housekeeping operation across all owner units, common areas, and resort facilities<br>- Assess current service standards and implement structured improvements to scheduling, quality control, and accountability<br>- Coordinate with property management and owner relations on unit-level service delivery<br><br>MEP & Infrastructure Maintenance<br>- Oversee all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems across the resort<br>- Review and strengthen the existing preventive maintenance programme with clear seasonal readiness milestones<br>- Manage MEP contractors and service agreements, renegotiating where necessary to improve performance and value<br>- Ensure full compliance with applicable safety codes and civil defense regulations<br><br>Security<br>- Take operational command of resort-wide security across all zones and access points<br>- Review existing protocols and implement improvements to access control, incident response, and personnel standards<br><br>Leadership & Operations<br>- Lead, manage, and develop the existing cross-functional FM team<br>- Identify process gaps, introduce SOPs where missing, and enforce adherence across all functions<br>- Own the FM annual operating budget — monitor spend, eliminate inefficiencies, and report monthly<br>- Oversee maintenance fees collections across all owner units, ensuring timely billing, follow-up, and reconciliation <br>- Produce clear performance and seasonal readiness reports for management review<br>- Manage contractor and supplier relationships with a focus on accountability and service delivery<br><br>---<br><br>Qualifications & Requirements<br><br>- Minimum 7–10 years of FM leadership experience, with at least 3 years in a Director-level or equivalent role<br>- Proven experience managing Housekeeping, MEP, and Security under a unified operations structure<br>- Prior experience in a resort, seaside, or large-scale residential community is strongly preferred<br>- A track record of inheriting an operation and driving measurable improvement in standards and efficiency<br>- Engineering or technical background is a strong advantage<br>- Solid budget management and contractor negotiation experience<br>- Strong knowledge of Egyptian safety regulations and civil defense requirements, particularly for coastal properties<br>- Arabic fluency required; working proficiency in English for reporting and documentation<br>- Willingness to be based in Ras Sudr during the operating season<br><br>To Apply<br><br>Applications are treated in strict confidence.
