About the Job:<br>Monitor assembly line operations to ensure adherence to standardized work Instructions, process parameters, and quality control plans.<br>Responsibilities: <br>Enforce Quality Compliance: Monitor shop floor operations across Body, Paint, and General Assembly to ensure strict adherence to Standardized Work Instructions, process sheets, and quality control plans. Oversee Dimensional & Metrology Control: Review Body-in-White (BIW) geometry, CMM measurement trends, gap-and-flush tolerances, and torque-tightening data logs. Manage Quality Holds & Non-Conformances: Isolate suspect material or vehicles immediately, lead Material Review Board (MRB) dispositions, and oversee containment actions. Improve Quality Metrics: Track, analyze, and report critical plant metrics including First Time Quality (FTQ), Direct Run Rate (DRR%), scrap rates, CVA (Customer Vehicle Audit) and Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ).
