<br><p>We are seeking an Operations Support Engineer to join our Office IT Collaboration team within the Technology function. This role is responsible for managing daily operations, executing deployments, supporting service optimisation, and contributing to project activities across global collaboration platforms. The individual will ensure service availability, incident resolution, and compliance with ITIL-based processes, while coordinating technical setups and troubleshooting across complex corporate environments.</p><br><br><br><b>What you’ll do</b>

Key responsibilities include analyzing RFPs, designing tailored technical solutions, estimating engineering efforts, and preparing technical proposals.</p><br><br><br><p>The PDA serves as the main technical interface between the customer and internal teams, providing expertise and guidance throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate with other SC thematic areas and other relevant external sector agencies, ensuring assessment findings are documented and that all assessments include a disaggregated analysis of children’s needs and vulnerabilities. Working with the Senior Operations Officer and other key members of the response team to develop CVA sector plans and master budgets and contribute to SC’s overall response objectives. Lead on the CVA sector plan revisions and implementation, focusing on identified and emerging risks, as well as prevention & response to violence for children and caregivers, referral pathways, coordination with relevant service providers, and the implementation of international standards and best practices. In close collaboration with the Senior Operations Officer and the assistance of the CVA specialist from the sector; design, pilot and supervise the implementation of the cash transfer components of the projects. Work with our Safety and Security Director to develop and implement effective security procedures for our specific cash transfer programming activities, ensuring that these are updated and reviewed at regular intervals and that new programmes are built around safety and security considerations. Work closely with the relevant technical advisors and MEAL team to put in place a strong CVA monitoring system including baseline, post-distribution monitoring and endline surveys to monitor and evaluate CVA processes, outputs, and outcomes. Ensure that the identified CVA risks are incorporated in the CVA program design and SoPs and that mitigation measures are put in place at program level to reduce such risks to an acceptable level. Ensure learning from projects feeds into local and global learning and that data and evidence drive operational and technical decision-making for CVA. Ensure that CVA is effectively integrated into Protection programming, notably through effective referral pathways and protocols, appropriate calculation methodologies of transfer values, and the identification and mitigation of risks. Coordinate with finance providers so transfers can be done properly and promptly. Work with the MEAL team for the management and update of the CVA program database of beneficiaries. Monitor CVA and humanitarian trends and propose program adaptations in a timely manner when relevant, focusing on identified and emerging risks, as well as prevention & response to violence for children and caregivers, internal/external referral pathways, coordination with relevant service providers, capacity building, and the implementation of international standards and best practices. Develop timely programme and donor reports on CVA activities in compliance with internal Save the Children requirements and any relevant external donor requirements. Working closely with the CO teams to identify the CVA staffing needs and support respective recruitment, induction, and training of new staff. <h4>About this role</h4>
<p>We are seeking a backend engineer to design and deliver next-generation automation solutions powered by artificial intelligence and generative AI. The role focuses on developing Python-driven, cloud-native systems that integrate enterprise platforms, APIs, and large language models to solve complex business challenges at scale. The individual will contribute to shaping automation architecture, supporting AI adoption, and ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and production-ready.</p>
<h4>What you'll do</h4>
<li>Design, build, and optimise Python-based solutions with a focus on scalability and reliability</li>
<li>Develop AI-powered automation solutions that combine traditional automation with GenAI and LLM capabilities</li>
<li>Build and expose secure, reusable APIs to enable integration across enterprise systems</li>
<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including AI specialists, to develop automation architectures</li>
<li>Apply system design principles to ensure modular, scalable, and maintainable solutions</li>
<li>Leverage enterprise automation tools to orchestrate workflows and embed AI into business processes</li>
<li>Provide technical guidance and contribute to the adoption of best practices in Python and AI-led automation</li>
<li>Stay updated on advancements in AI, cloud technologies, and automation trends, contributing to innovation initiatives</li>
<h4>Who you are</h4>
<li>Experience in Python development for automation and AI solutions (3-6 years of experience)</li>
<li>Hands-on exposure to LLMs, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and inference optimisation</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of API design and integration within enterprise or cloud environments</li>
<li>Experience building cloud-native solutions using platforms such as AWS or GCP</li>
<li>Familiarity with Python frameworks such as FastAPI or LangChain</li>
<li>Solid understanding of system design, cloud architecture, and scalability patterns</li>
<li>Experience with automation or orchestration tools is advantageous</li>
<li>Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to collaborate with diverse teams</li>
<li>Experience supporting or mentoring peers is considered beneficial</li>
