This is a delivery-focused leadership role: your job is to turn a cross-functional roadmap into shipped, high-quality software on a predictable cadence, while providing the technical insight and guidance needed to keep delivery pragmatic, reliable, and well-executed. The team has two clear areas of ownership. First, the Hotels domain, the guest-facing and hotel-operations features that serve our enterprise hotel customers, from in-room and on-property ordering through to stay-management and guest-services capabilities. Second, third-party integrations such as POS's (Point of Sale), PMS (Property Management System), payment gateways, and loyalty connections that the Hotels business depends on, where you own the technical relationship end-to-end. You own the throughput, quality, and getting integration-heavy work delivered efficiently. This role reports to the Engineering Director.</p><p>Your mission You own the delivery health of your squad end-to-end. You take a mixed backlog of integration, platform, and product work and ship it predictably, at high quality, with the dependencies managed and the risks surfaced early.</p><p>Key responsibilities</p><ul><li>Manage a team of full stack engineers, actively drive their growth, performance, and engagement. This role includes planning and coordinating site activities, supervising site teams and contractors, and ensuring that work is executed safely, on schedule, and within quality standards. The Site Manager monitors project progress, prepares regular status reports, and communicates with project stakeholders to address issues and align expectations. Responsibilities also involve enforcing safety and compliance procedures, managing site logistics and resources, and supporting the resolution of technical and operational challenges. The role requires hands-on presence at the site and close collaboration with engineering, procurement, and project management teams.<br>Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day site activities for OHTL construction and installation works. Supervise civil, structural, erection, stringing, and related transmission line activities. Coordinate with project management, engineering, subcontractors, consultants, and clients. Ensure construction activities are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project schedules. Monitor manpower, equipment, materials, and site resources to maintain productivity. Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, quality standards, and applicable project procedures. Review site progress and prepare daily/weekly progress reports. Identify site issues, coordinate resolutions, and minimize delays and rework. Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control throughout construction activities. Coordinate tower erection, conductor/earth wire stringing, sagging, testing, and associated works as applicable. Maintain proper site documentation, records, permits, and inspection reports. Support commissioning, testing, punch-list clearance, and project handover activities.<br>Requirements:Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering.8+ years of relevant experience in OHTL/transmission line construction, with experience in a site management or supervisory role. Strong knowledge of transmission line construction practices, safety requirements, and quality standards. Experience managing subcontractors, site teams, resources, and project schedules. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and method statements. Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Willingness to work at project sites and in remote locations as required.<br>Qualifications Experience in managing OHTL or similar power transmission construction sites, including coordination of daily activities and supervision of field teams. Knowledge of safety standards, regulatory requirements, and quality control procedures relevant to power infrastructure and construction projects. Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and client representatives. Proficiency with basic project documentation, reporting tools, and site management software; familiarity with MS Office applications. Relevant technical education in engineering, construction management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered. Demonstrated ability to work on-site in demanding field conditions and to travel as required within project areas. Previous experience in the power, utilities, or infrastructure sector in the MENA region is an advantage.
