Role Description The Mechanical Production Engineer role at Diniz Adient Egypt is a full-time, on-site position based in Ismailia, focused on overseeing daily production operations for mechanical manufacturing processes. The role involves monitoring production lines, optimizing workflows, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet output, safety, and quality targets. The Mechanical Production Engineer is responsible for implementing production plans, resolving technical issues, adjusting processes to improve efficiency, and supporting preventive maintenance activities. The role also includes preparing reports, analyzing production data, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and enhance productivity. Collaboration with quality, maintenance, and logistics teams is key to ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery.<br>Qualifications<br> Candidates should possess strong Production Engineering and Production Planning skills to manage mechanical manufacturing processes and daily production activities. Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret production data, identify root causes of issues, and drive process improvements. Candidates should possess Quality Control skills to ensure adherence to standards, perform inspections, and support corrective and preventive actions. Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams, document findings, and report on production performance. Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering are preferred. Experience in automotive or industrial manufacturing environments, familiarity with lean manufacturing, and knowledge of health and safety regulations are beneficial. Ability to work on-site in Ismailia, manage multiple tasks, and respond promptly to production issues is required.
· Supervising the implementation of the daily production plan and monitoring achievement of operational targets according to the approved programs.· Monitor the progress of production processes at all stages of the slaughterhouse, starting from receiving birds to cooling and delivery to warehouses. · Supervise the distribution of the workforce on production lines according to operational needs. · Monitor equipment and production line efficiency and coordinate with the maintenance department to address faults and reduce downtime.· Monitor performance and productivity indicators and take the necessary corrective actions in case of deviations.· Monitor waste and scrap rates, analyze causes, and work to improve refining (Yield) rates.· Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and approved work instructions.· Supervise the application of quality and food safety requirements in accordance with HACCP, GMP, GHP, SSOP systems.· Coordinate with the Quality, Veterinary, Maintenance, and Warehouse departments to ensure continuity of production operations. · Monitor the implementation of cleanliness and disinfection programs within production areas. · Immediate reporting of any risks that may affect food safety or continuity of operations. · Prepare daily production-related reports, productivity, waste, and faults, and submit them to the direct manager.· Supervise worker training, raise their technical competencies, and regularly evaluate their performance. · Participate in implementing continuous improvement programs to raise operating efficiency and reduce operating costs.
