Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Manager to lead The Westin Cairo Golf Resort & Spa, a luxury wellness-focused destination. This role requires a seasoned hospitality leader with a strong operations background , proven experience in managing large-scale resort or luxury hotel environments, and the ability to drive operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and financial performance. The ideal candidate will embody Westin s commitment to well-being, delivering enriching guest experiences while fostering a high-performance culture across all departments. Fluency in Arabic is preferred to support effective engagement with guests, associates, and local stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Provide strategic direction and hands-on leadership across all hotel operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and execution of brand standards
- Drive operational excellence across Rooms, Food & Beverage, Spa, Golf, and Recreation offerings
- Continuously enhance guest satisfaction, service quality, and overall experience in line with Westin brand expectations
Financial Performance
- Achieve and exceed financial targets, including revenue growth, GOP, and profitability metrics
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cost management efforts with a strong focus on driving efficiencies
- Identify new revenue opportunities, particularly within resort, wellness, and leisure segments
People Leadership & Culture
- Build, develop, and inspire a high-performing leadership team
- Champion Marriott International s culture, values, and associate engagement initiatives
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and guest-centric work environment
Guest Experience & Brand Positioning
- Act as the primary ambassador for the hotel, ensuring an elevated and personalized guest journey
- Strengthen the resort s positioning as a leading wellness and luxury destination in Cairo
- Maintain strong visibility with guests, VIPs, and key clients
Stakeholder & Owner Relations
- Maintain effective relationships with ownership, ensuring alignment on performance and strategic goals
- Provide regular updates on operational and financial results
- Engage with local community, partners, and tourism stakeholders to enhance brand visibility
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure full compliance with Marriott International policies, brand standards, and local regulations
- Maintain high standards in safety, security, and asset protection
Desired Candidate Profile
- Proven track record as a General Manager or Hotel Manager in a luxury hotel or resort environment
- Strong operations background with deep expertise across multiple hotel functions
- Demonstrated ability to lead large, complex teams and deliver strong financial results
- Experience in resort, wellness, or lifestyle hospitality concepts is highly advantageous
- Strong commercial acumen with a guest-centric mindset
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Arabic language skills preferred
- Degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
