Job Purpose:
The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating and delivering innovative, high-quality visuals for all Forbes Middle East events and summits. The role involves leading creative campaigns across social media and printing materials, from concept to execution, while ensuring brand consistency and collaborating closely with editorial, multimedia, and marketing teams.
Duties & Responsibilities:• Designing and producing visual content for digital and print platforms (social media “e.g. Instagram, X and Linked In” graphics, presentations, brochures, banners) for event and summits to strengthen brand visibility and audience engagement.• Conceptualizing and creating eye-catching visual designs aligned with Forbes Middle East’s editorial direction and brand identity to strengthen presence across social media and event coverage.• Maintaining consistent brand identity across all visual communications to reinforce Forbes Middle East’s image and credibility.• Leading and executing creative campaigns from concept to final design across multiple formats (static, animated, short-form video, infographics) to deliver impactful, cross platform storytelling.• Managing multiple design projects and prioritizing tasks under tight deadlines to ensure efficient workflow and successful project completion.• Incorporating feedback into design revisions to ensure timely delivery of polished, high-quality assets.• Proofreading designs for accuracy in spelling, alignment and overall adherence to the brand guidelines while incorporating stakeholder’s feedback.• Organizing and maintaining a library of templates, images, and design assets to ensure easy access, enabling efficiency and consistency in the magazine’s design production.• Collaborating with marketing, editorial, social media, multimedia, and marketing teams to maintain visual consistency and reinforce brand identity across all content.• Leveraging AI-powered design tools (e.g., Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, DALL·E, Runway, etc.) to streamline workflows, boost creativity, and deliver innovative design solutions.• Proposing and implementing enhanced visual designs for the website and social media formats to improve user experience and elevate brand presence.• Staying updated with design trends, AI technologies, and digital media standards to ensure content remains modern, innovative, and competitive.• Organizing and achieving all design files and assets in a structured, professional manner to ensure efficiency, consistency, and easy accessibility.
Job Specifications:• Bachelor’s degree in fine arts, or a related field.• Professional certifications in Adobe Creative Suite or related design tools are an advantage.• 3–5 years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably within events or media firms.• Proven portfolio showcasing strong designs for banners and brochures.• Experience managing end-to-end print production and preparing ready print files.• Exposure to digital media design, social media creatives, and marketing campaigns ishighly desirable.• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator,Lightroom).• Strong knowledge of typography, color theory, and layout principles.• Understanding photography editing, illustration, and visual storytelling.• Familiarity with digital publishing tools and content management systems.• Knowledge of printing processes, pre-press standards, and vendor coordination.• Strong creative vision with the ability to translate concepts into impactful visuals.• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality design standards.• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.• Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.• Dedicated and results-driven, with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.• Excellent communication and time management skills.• Basic knowledge of video editing or motion graphics is a plus.
