We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network Engineer to join our Network Operations Center (NOC) team. The NOC Engineer will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability. This role requires strong technical knowledge of Cisco, HPE/Aruba, and Check Point systems, the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to providing excellent support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Network Monitoring: Continuously monitor network and server systems, including Cisco, HPE/Aruba, and Check Point devices, for performance and availability using monitoring tools.• Incident Management: Detect and respond to alerts and incidents across multi-vendor environments. Perform initial analysis, troubleshoot issues, and escalate or resolve problems in a timely manner.• Issue Resolution: Diagnose network issues across Cisco, HPE/Aruba, and Check Point technologies, applying standard operating procedures to resolve or escalate issues to the appropriate teams.• Documentation and Reporting: Document all incidents, actions taken, and resolutions in a timely manner. Create and update technical documentation and runbooks.• Maintenance and Updates: Support planned maintenance, patching, and updates to network infrastructure, including software and firmware upgrades for Cisco, HPE/Aruba, and Check Point devices.• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues and communicate the status of critical incidents to stakeholders.• Continuous Improvement: Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to reduce system incidents and optimize network performance.
Qualifications and Technical Skills:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or any related technical field.• 1–3 years of experience in a NOC or similar network support role.• Knowledge of network protocols (e.g., L2/L3 protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VXLAN, VPNs).• Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., Solar Winds, Wireshark).• Strong experience with Cisco equipment (routers, switches, Wi-Fi) and related technologies.• Familiarity with HPE/Aruba networking products (routers, switches, Wi-Fi).• Experience with Check Point firewall solutions.• Understanding of virtualization technologies and cloud network platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.• Basic knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) is beneficial.• Knowledge of Fore Scout Network Access Control technology is a plus.• Knowledge of F5 proxy/load balancers is a plus.• Knowledge of Infoblox (DDI – DNS/DHCP/IPAM) is a plus.• Knowledge of Zscaler (ZPA/ZIA) is a plus.• Knowledge of Cyber Ark PAM (Privileged Access Management) is a plus.• Certifications such as Cisco (e.g., CCNA, CCNP), HPE Networking, or Check Point certifications are preferred.

Working Conditions:• Shift Work: May include rotating shifts to ensure 24/7 global network support coverage.• On-Call Availability: Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and work outside regular business hours if required.
