Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Cairo, Egypt, with the option to work from home periodically. As a Professor of Agricultural Economics, you will be responsible for teaching courses in economics at the university level. Additional responsibilities include conducting research in areas such as microeconomics, macroeconomics, and international economics, as they relate to agricultural industries and policies. You will guide students, mentor future professionals in the field, and actively collaborate on scholarly projects to address key challenges in agricultural economics and sustainable development.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of Economics, including expertise in statistics,Microeconomics and Macroeconomics Proficiency in International Economics and statistics Experience and skills in University Teaching and curriculum development for specialized programs in Economics Demonstrated research capabilities and a track record of publishing in peer-reviewed journals Excellent communication, mentoring, and collaboration skills Ph. D. in Agricultural Economics, Economics, or a closely related field Experience with research in arid or semi-arid regions is highly desirable
