Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Crane Operator, located in Cairo, Egypt. The Crane Operator will handle and operate various types of cranes and lifting equipment. Responsibilities include performing lifting operations, conducting equipment inspections, and ensuring safety procedures are followed. The role requires adherence to safety standards and effective teamwork to meet operational goals.

Requirements:Practical Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in lifting operations, preferably with prior experience in the oil and gas or drilling sector. Licenses: Valid heavy equipment operator's license (Class 1). Technical Certifications: Certified crane operator from a recognized authority.

Technical Knowledge:Comprehensive understanding of LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations). Ability to understand and implement lifting plans and risk management strategies. Familiarity with load charts and safe crane operating limits.

Responsibilities:Operate cranes efficiently and safely according to company and manufacturer instructions. Conduct routine daily crane inspections and ensure the proper functioning of all hydraulic and mechanical systems. Maintain effective communication with the bankman and rigger to ensure safe lifting operations. Strict adherence to occupational health and safety (HSE) instructions at the workplace.
