Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Video Editor / Videographer based in Cairo. The role combines professional shooting and editing, where the candidate will be responsible for producing video content from filming to final delivery for social media and brand projects.
The position includes:Professional video shooting and editing for social media and brand content Setting up shooting environments with a good understanding of lighting and production workflow Editing long-form and short-form videos Preparing reels and social media content Handling footage from shooting to final export Applying color correction and basic color grading Adding titles, captions, and simple motion graphics when needed Selecting suitable music and sound effects for videos Preparing videos in the correct formats for platforms such as Instagram, Tik Tok, and You Tube Contributing creative ideas to improve content quality and production
The role may also include working directly with clients during shoots, understanding their needs, and maintaining a professional and respectful approach.
Qualifications Minimum 3 years experience Experience in both shooting and editing is required Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative software (Premiere Pro & After Effects) is required. Strong portfolio is required Ability to work on-site in Cairo Strong sense of pacing and storytelling Good understanding of camera work and lighting fundamentals A creative mindset with attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership Ability to work within a team and meet deadlines
