Job Summary:

Brand Communications specialist can expect to be involved with everything a Brand Communications specialist typically does, just on a smaller scale. In other words, you may not set the Product strategy or own the product roadmap, but you will set priorities for projects. Brand Communications specialist use customer and trend research to create strategies that will change how people perceive the brand. This involve overseeing advertising, design and events. Additionally, he/she will be responsible for making sure that branding is consistent across advertising and campaigns.

Brand Communications Specialist's main duty is to maintain the web content and ensure that the website is updated regularly with relevant and exciting material. Apart from this, he/she should also be able to perform the following

General Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a Communications strategy that aligns with the objectives, target audience and brand guidelines.
  • Create and manage editorial calendar to deliver timely content across various digital platforms.
  • Research industry trends, market insights and competitor analysis to inform content development and identify opportunities
  • Ensure publishing of engaging and SEO-friendly content, including articles, blog posts, website copy, social media posts and email newsletters
  • Collaborate with designers, videographers and other stakeholders to oversee the content creation of visually appealing and multimedia-rich assets.
  • Monitor and analyse content performance metrics, such as website traffic, engagement rates and conversions, and make data-driven recommendations
  • Ensure brand consistency and compliance with the company's style guide and voice across all content deliverables.
  • Manage and maintain content repositories, including content management systems (CMS), and ensure content is organized and easily accessible for future use.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging trends and evolving content formats to enhance content marketing initiatives continually.
  • Researching and enhance sourcing content for the website
  • Targeting a specific set of keywords for all the articles written and published
  • Monitoring the competition's online activities
  • Writing, editing and publishing SEO content pieces
  • Repurposing content to fit the publishing media, video production or social media
  • Working closely with the marketing team to devise online marketing strategies
  • Developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the company's goals, target audience and brand identity.
  • Driving brand awareness, engagement and lead generation through strategic content marketing.
  • Creating high quality and compelling content across multiple platforms, including websites, blogs, social media and email marketing campaigns.
  • Optimizing content for search engine optimization (SEO) and ensuring consistent brand messaging and tone of voice.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather information and develop content that supports marketing initiatives, product launches and thought leadership.
  • Work with operations, and management teams to ensure progress of brand image delivery is properly communicated within allotted touchpoints, timeline and budget.
  • Records and reports any challenges in delivery plan and develop solutions to help resolve the challenges
  • Maintain accurate and complete product & Brand related information.
  • Identify process improvements to achieve targets related to e-commerce product sale and customer support.
  • Posts and communicates the social media strategies as needed. Track advertising media spend and strategies.
  • Tracks the products inventory for advertising purposes and updates Senior / Lead product manager with the same.
  • Manage events, sponsorships and assists in the tracing of the packaging, shipping and all product logistics and brand image during those events.
  • Ensures regular up to date with latest industry trends and suggest creative ideas according to that analysis.
  • Maintain self-development of soft and technical skills to ensure progress in the field.
  • Develop & Follow up on special partnerships and retail projects for new lines introductions and setting up decks for these product lines.
  • Obeying the work orders of the superiors and implementing them with complete accuracy, and following the instructions and orders issued by the management at any time, and Their relations must be good and based on understanding and affection.
  • Not to divulge industrial or commercial work secrets and, in general, any matter related to the firm's work, its internal and external affairs, and its work system. It is also prohibited for the worker to compete with the employer in the same activity
  • Follow safety and occupational health and prevention measures as per they are announced by the state, company and management

Requirements

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Brand Communications specialist, content strategist or similar role in retail field is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with a strong command of grammar and language suited for Indian audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to create high-quality, engaging, SEO-friendly content across digital and print platforms.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and basic knowledge of HTML.
  • Experience using analytics tools to monitor content performance and make data-driven decisions like Google Analytics and MS AX 365 is an advantage.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to priorities tasks and meet deadlines.
  • An analytical mindset to interpret data and metrics and optimize content performance.
  • Cultural understanding and sensitivity to tailor content to our target audience's preferences, interests and nuances.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in content management and social media tools.
