Job Summary
The goal of this role is to enhance the reputation of the company by ensuring vehicles are presented to our customers to the highest standard possible, to carry out the assigned duties to the quality and standards as set by the company in a timely manner, within all appropriate laws and regulations while maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring an outstanding level of service is provided in all dealings with customers, colleagues, business associates and management.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Discusses with the Service Manager ideas that will bring about improvement and better performance within the workshop.
- Ensures that the general condition of the vehicle is checked during the course of the maintenance, guarantees top quality repairs and adherence to appointments and deadlines promised to customers.
- Lead and manage the service teams to ensure effective and efficient workshop operation and repair quality.
- Leads, informs and motivates auto technicians and plans training programs for service teams.
- Manage effective communication between workshop and Reception and other departments
- Plans the daily workload and distributes work orders according to technician’s ability and monitors the progress repair orders through the workshop.
- Provides technical support to the Service Advisor, team leaders and technicians in the course of diagnosing problem cases.
- Responsible for the safety and cleanliness of the workshop and general maintenance of all equipment's and tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 5 years in automotive body repair and painting.
- Excellent technical skills.
- Leadership & Management skills
