Role Description The Assistant at Alfy Pharmacy is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo. The Assistant supports daily pharmacy operations by helping organize and stock inventory, preparing shelves, and ensuring products are clearly labeled and easy for customers and pharmacists to locate. This role includes greeting customers, answering basic inquiries, assisting with non-clinical tasks related to prescriptions under the supervision of licensed staff, and maintaining a clean, orderly workspace. The Assistant may also handle simple cashier duties, help manage records and documentation, and coordinate with the pharmacy team to ensure efficient, timely service. Collaboration, attention to detail, and a customer-centered approach are key to success in this position. Qualifications Strong organizational and time management skills to support inventory control and daily operational tasks. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members in a professional manner. Basic numeracy and computer skills for handling transactions, updating records, and using pharmacy systems. High level of accuracy and attention to detail in labeling, stocking, and supporting prescription-related processes under supervision. Ability to stand for extended periods, manage physical tasks such as lifting and stocking, and maintain a tidy work environment. Demonstrated reliability, integrity, and respect for confidentiality in handling customer information. Previous experience in retail, pharmacy, or healthcare support is an advantage but not always required. High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in pharmacy assistance or healthcare support is a plus.
