Job Summary:We are seeking a Steel Detailing Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in steel detailing using TEKLA and Auto CAD, with a strong understanding of engineering drawings and steel fabrication standards. You will be working closely with the design and detailing teams to ensure that all project requirements are met with precision and in a timely manner.
Job Responsibility: Perform day-to-day detailing tasks to ensure smooth workflow and project continuity. Assist in the preparation and development of engineering drawings and detailing documents under supervision. Support the detailing team in meeting project deadlines and maintaining quality standards. Coordinate with design and detailing teams to resolve technical issues and implement changes. Attend project meetings and contribute to detailing-related discussions as needed. Prepare accurate and timely reports for the Detailing Department. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting enhancements to workflows, cost efficiency, and productivity. Stay up to date with industry standards, software advancements, and best practices in steel detailing. Participate in internal training sessions and knowledge-sharing related to detailing tools and techniques. Follow internal policies, procedures, and standards to maintain consistency and quality in work.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in engineering filed. Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in the steel industry. Proficiency in TEKLA Structures and Auto CAD is a must. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent attention to detail and communication skills. Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
