Job Overview:
We’re seeking an experienced ERP Accounting professional to own inventory, COGS, and financial reporting for our growing wholesale apparel business. This is a high-impact, hands-on role managing our Apparel Magic ERP accounting system, while overseeing bookkeeping in Quick Books Online (QBO) and producing management-ready reports.
Key Responsibilities:Take full ownership of day-to-day accounting in Apparel Magic for inventory, COGS, AR, AP, and landed costs. Clean up and stabilize historical ERP data, ensuring inventory and cost accuracy without overriding transactional records. Reconcile inventory clearing accounts and COGS-related bank accounts exclusively within Apparel Magic. Oversee QBO bookkeeping for operating expenses, payroll, utilities, rent, and software, ensuring alignment with ERP outputs. Prepare monthly management reports combining ERP and QBO data; explain margin movements, cost changes, and variances. Enforce proper accounting workflows (PO → Receipt → Bill → Landed Cost → Payment) and prevent cost drift.
Required Experience:Proven hands-on experience with inventory and COGS accounting in ERP systems. Strong understanding of weighted-average costing and ERP cost flows. Experience cleaning up historical ERP data safely and accurately. Comfortable managing multi-system accounting environments. Strong analytical and reporting skills for management-ready insights. English communication B2-C2
Nice-to-Have:Apparel or wholesale industry experience. Prior ERP cleanup or stabilization projects. Experience with Apparel Magic ERP. Experience coordinating ERP and QBO bookkeeping.
Tools & Process:Hands-on ERP experience (Apparel Magic strongly preferred). Familiarity with Quick Books Online for expense and overhead oversight. Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and cross-team coordination.
