Position: Technical Sales Engineer – LPG & Fuel Systems Department: Sales & Business Development Reports to: Sales Manager / Business Development Manager
Role Overview
The Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing business opportunities for LPG systems and fuel handling systems. The role combines technical expertise with strong sales skills to provide customized solutions, meet client requirements, and achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities• Identify and generate new business opportunities in the LPG and fuel systems sector.• Develop and maintain relationships with consultants, contractors, and end-users.• Conduct site visits, surveys, and client meetings to understand technical requirements.• Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals in coordination with the estimation and design teams.• Provide technical presentations and product demonstrations to clients.• Negotiate contracts, follow up on tenders, and secure project awards.• Collaborate with project and engineering teams to ensure smooth handover and execution.• Keep up-to-date with industry standards, codes (NFPA, EN, local regulations), and competitor activities.• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to market growth.
Qualifications & Skills• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or related field.• 3–5 years of experience in sales, technical support, or business development in LPG and/or fuel systems.• Strong knowledge of LPG bulk storage, piping, fuel tanks, pumping systems, and distribution networks.• Familiarity with international and local codes (NFPA, API, EN, SASO, Aramco standards if KSA-based).• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.• Proven ability to prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals.• Self-driven, target-oriented, and able to work independently under pressure.• Strong client network is an advantage.
