Sales Account Manager

The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients, acquiring new clients, and ensuring that all accounts meet sales and revenue targets. The ideal candidate should have experience in the food industry, particularly in the sale of meat and frozen products, with a strong ability to drive sales, build relationships, and manage customer expectations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop relationships with existing clients to increase sales and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, targeting retailers, restaurants, and distributors in the food industry.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs by managing accounts effectively and closing new deals.
  • Provide clients with product information, pricing, and support to ensure successful product placement and sales.
  • Develop tailored sales strategies for different client segments based on market needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, logistics, finance) to ensure seamless product delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Prepare and deliver sales reports and forecasts to management.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in sales account management, preferably in the food or frozen products industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.


Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in the sale of meat, liver, and frozen products is a significant advantage.
  • Knowledge of the food distribution industry and key accounts in the region.
