Export Sales Manager

Duties:

· Design and implement a strategic business plan for export that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence in target markets.

· Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.

· Identify new business opportunities by tapping the potential customers from different countries.

· Make sure that the existing clients are retained and maintained while developing the new customers.

· Ensure that the all the sales and marketing activities are carried out within the agreed budgets, volume, sales, and within the given time scales.

· Take initiative and efforts to develop constructive and effective solutions to any issues that slow down or hamper the export procedures and activities.

· Constantly review distributor's performance and monitor their work, so that relevant information can be provided to the management.

· Arrange and Attend meetings with potential customers in different countries to negotiate, to assist in the overall growth and development of the business organization.

· Carry out market research, conduct surveys and study the competitors and their marketing and sales strategies.

· Make new plans that will help the organization to race ahead in the competition by prioritizing the target countries.

· Attend the trade shows and exhibitions.

· Make suggestions to improve the product based on the feedback received from the customers.

· Train and mentor, the Customers’ sales representatives and create awareness about the products in the target. countries by conducting advertising and marketing campaigns.

· Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.

· Present export sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team

 


Required qualifications.· Fluent English/ French languages.· An educational background in marketing, sales, business administration or related field.· Good knowledge of global markets, international trade practices, and export regulations.· Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in export sales and operations in food industries preferred confectionary.· Should have passion and flexibility to travel long distances.· SAP ERP user is preferred.· Proven ability to drive the export sales process from plan to close.· Strong business sense and industry expertise.· Food manufacturing experience, confectionary preferred.· Strong analytical abilities to assess market trends, identify opportunities, and make strategic business decisions.Required skills.· Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization with exceptional negotiation skills.· Fluent in English and French languages.· Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.· Problem Solving.· Customs Regulations.· Leadership.· Decision Making.· Flexibility.· Export Documentation.
