Position Overview We're looking for a Product Engineer to help define, promote, and deploy interface solutions for hardware-assisted acceleration using Veloce emulation and prototyping solutions. As part of our worldwide Veloce experts team, you'll work with leading-edge semiconductor and systems customers on pre- and post-silicon validation, verification, and software bring-up of complex SoC and FPGA designs. You'll leverage advances in co-emulation technologies and Veloce VirtuaLAB-based solutions, bringing strong technical expertise, leadership, and a passion for innovation to drive customer success.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Application Engineers (AEs) and customers with the integration and debugging of interface solutions in a hardware-assisted verification environment.
- Create or support example designs for solutions that use QEMU-based test software.
- Develop and deliver technical training presentations to the Siemens field team and customers, focusing on interface solutions for Veloce emulation and prototyping platforms.
- Drive the adoption of Veloce technology at customer sites by applying hands-on technical expertise and working directly with customers to ensure successful technical outcomes.
- Deliver exceptional technical customer support to build strong relationships and ensure long-term customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with the Sales team to develop and execute strategies that expand the business.
- Provide product feedback and enhancement ideas to the product development teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while working closely with team members to ensure customer success.
- Communicate customers' technical requirements to the Product Marketing team.
- Assist other engineers in the design, development, and implementation of large-scale solutions across multiple software products and hardware platforms.
- Provide business and technical feedback to software and hardware development teams.
- Prepare and deliver in-depth technical papers and presentations for customer management and technical conferences.
- Work independently on complex projects with minimal supervision, exercising sound judgment and discretion.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with Verilog and SystemVerilog.
- Experience using UVM-based or SystemC-based verification environments.
- Understanding of one or more industry-standard interface protocols, such as PCIe, Ethernet, AMBA-based protocols, or memory interface protocols.
- Experience with memory interface protocols such as DDR5, LPDDR5/LPDDR6, HBM3/HBM4, and/or SPI NOR/NAND.
- Experience working with the DDR PHY Interface (DFI).
- Previous customer-facing experience, such as an Application Engineer at an emulation or prototyping systems provider.
