Our expertise includes OCTG Services, API & Premium Connection Rethreading, Machine Shop Manufacturing, Repair, Bucking Operations, Welding, Hard banding, and related workshop and field services.

This position is site-based and requires working on a 3 week on/1 week off rotation at the company's operational sites (Alex or Matrouh)

Job Purpose

• We are seeking a skilled Manual Lathe Machinist to perform machining, repair, and refurbishment activities using conventional machine tools while ensuring compliance with engineering drawings, quality standards, and safety procedures.

• The position supports manufacturing, repair, rethreading, and refurbishment activities for OCTG accessories and oilfield equipment.

• Key Responsibilities

Machine Operation

• Operate manual lathes, milling machines, radial drills, and other conventional equipment.

• Set up workpieces and machining tools.

• Perform machining activities according to work instructions and drawings.

Manufacturing & Repair

• Manufacture new parts and components.

• Repair damaged equipment and accessories.

• Perform threading, boring, drilling, facing, and turning operations.

• Support refurbishment and maintenance projects.

Quality Control

• Inspect dimensions and tolerances during machining.

• Use measuring instruments accurately.

• Ensure finished products meet specifications.

Equipment Care

• Maintain machines in clean and operational condition.

• Report equipment problems to supervisors.

• Support preventive maintenance activities.

Safety Compliance

• Follow workshop safety procedures.

• Use required PPE.

• Maintain safe and organized work area.

Requirements

Requirements

• Technical Diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum 3 years of experience operating manual lathes.

• Good knowledge of machining processes.

• Ability to use precision measuring instruments.

• Ability to read engineering drawings.
