Job Title: Senior Copywriter Location: Zahra Maadi, Cairo, Egypt (Onsite, Full-Time) Contract Duration: 2 Months (with possible extension based on performance) Reports To: Creative Director / Head of Content
Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Copywriter to lead content creation across multiple channels—from long-form articles and brand manifestos to short ad copies and social media scripts. You will work closely with designers, strategists, and account managers to deliver tone-perfect, conversion-driven copy. This is a full-time, onsite role in Zahra Maadi for two months, ideal for a writer who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Copywriting & Content Creation Write, edit, and proofread high-quality copy for websites, blogs, email campaigns, social media (Facebook, Instagram, Linked In, Tik Tok), Google Ads, brochures, and internal communications. Develop compelling brand narratives, taglines, and campaign concepts aligned with client objectives. Adapt tone of voice across different industries (e.g., F&B, tech, real estate, education, retail). Produce long-form content (articles, case studies, white papers) and short-form copy (captions, headlines, CTAs). Strategy & Collaboration Collaborate with the creative team (designers, art directors, strategists) to transform briefs into powerful visual + verbal storytelling. Participate in daily stand-ups and creative brainstorming sessions onsite in Zahra Maadi. Interpret creative briefs and client feedback to refine copy direction quickly and accurately. Ensure all copy is SEO-friendly (basic keyword integration) and aligned with brand guidelines. Quality Control & Mentorship Review junior copywriters’ work (if applicable) and ensure consistency and grammatical accuracy. Fact-check and source references where required. Maintain a content calendar and meet strict deadlines. Qualifications & Skills Required Experience: 3–5 years of professional copywriting experience (agency or brand side). Portfolio: Proven work samples showing versatility across formats (digital, print, social, long-form). Languages: Fluent in English (native or near-native) and Arabic (professional proficiency – ability to write formal and colloquial Arabic). Writing Skills: Impeccable grammar, storytelling ability, persuasive writing, and attention to detail. Tech Skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point), Google Docs; familiarity with project management tools (Trello, Asana, or Click Up) is a plus. Soft Skills: Excellent communication, ability to receive feedback constructively, time management, and self-direction. Location: Must be able to commute daily to Zahra Maadi (onsite work, no remote option). Preferred (Nice to Have) Basic knowledge of SEO principles (keywords, meta descriptions, headers). Experience writing for Arabic social media trends and regional audiences. Familiarity with CMS platforms (Word Press) or design tools (Canva, Figma). Understanding of marketing funnels and conversion copywriting. Working Conditions Schedule: Sunday – Thursday 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (to be confirmed). Environment: Creative, open-plan office in Zahra Maadi; collaborative and deadline-driven. Duration: Fixed 2-month contract (full-time, onsite). No remote or hybrid option.
