About the Role Responsible for the end‑to‑end planning, governance, and performance oversight of all consumer and enterprise terminals and SIMs. The role ensures optimal device–network interaction, quality of service, and alignment with strategic technology evolution across all access networks.
Responsibilities Ensure adherence to consumer terminals and SIMs strategy, standards, and certification requirements across all network technologies (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, Wi‑Fi, etc.). Ensure compliance with B2B and enterprise terminals, IoT modules, and SIM strategy and standards across all technologies and interfaces. Plan, integrate, and certify terminals and SIMs for e& Egypt in coordination with chipset manufacturers, device OEMs, and SIM vendors. Provide comprehensive analytics on the performance and impact of B2C and B2B terminals and SIMs on the network experience. Optimize terminal and SIM features to ensure maximal compatibility and seamless performance across all network platforms. Conduct full testing of new consumer and enterprise products—pre‑ and post‑production—including readiness verification for terminals and SIMs. Lead the evolution of terminal and SIM certification frameworks to support Smart City infrastructure, including connected sensors, smart meters, mobility solutions, and mission‑critical IoT applications. Ensure readiness for massive IoT deployments, LPWAN advancements, and new device form factors aligned with national digital transformation goals. Collaborate with ecosystem partners to evaluate and integrate next‑generation technologies (AI‑driven device diagnostics, edge‑connected devices, 5G Red Cap, NTN/ satellite IoT) to future‑proof device–network compatibility.
