Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Demand Planning Manager Egypt & NA to lead and manage demand planning strategy, forecasting, and S&OP leadership in Egypt. This role requires deep expertise in supply chain planning, strong analytical capabilities, and a proactive approach to cross‑functional collaboration. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring forecast accuracy, inventory optimization, and seamless alignment between commercial, supply chain, and manufacturing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Forecasting & Statistical Modeling
- Develop baseline forecasts using historical sales data, market trends, and statistical algorithms.
- S&OP Leadership
- Lead monthly S&OP meetings, integrating inputs from Sales/Marketing, Finance and Compare actual forecasts budge.
- Supply Chain Collaboration & Inventory Optimization
- Partner with supply chain to manage safety stock and expiry‑sensitive inventory.
- Manage tenders and demand surges.
- Ensure market‑wise priority and quota allocation during supply constraints.
- New Product Introduction (NPI)
- Support launch excellence teams to forecast uptake for new drugs without historical data.
- KPI Tracking & Continuous Improvement
- Drive improvements in Forecast Accuracy, BIAS, and OTIF (On‑Time, In‑Full delivery).
- Monitor forecast vs. actual sales, analyze gaps, and implement corrective actions.
- Operational Planning & Communication
- Prepare TM Sales plans aligned with TMS Forecasts and budget.
- Phase TM Sales plans across rolling 3‑month horizons.
- Act as the central communication point between JP Sales, Factory teams and distribution in Egypt markets and north Africa.
- Manage distributor inventory (Stock in Trade) to minimize out‑of‑stock risks.
- Contribute to budget and latest forecast quarterly processes.
- Lead monthly Pre‑SOP meetings with sales teams.
- Highlight sales order requirements, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Lead projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, pharmacy, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in a pharmaceutical company Is a plus. with at least 5 years in demand planning role.
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience with SAP IBP, Six Sigma, and analytical tools preferred.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
