Role Purpose
- The Inventory Accountant is responsible for conducting regular inventory counts across company branches and retail outlets, ensuring accurate reporting of stock levels, and reconciling quantities with financial records.
- The role supports branch operations and provides management with reliable inventory data to maintain smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconciliation for all branches and retail outlets
- Track stock at branch and maintain accurate records
- Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies to the Senior Accountant
- Maintain and update inventory data in Excel and ERP/accounting systems
- Prepare inventory reports for management and assist in audits
