Job Overview:

As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth experience throughout their stay. You’ll handle check-ins, check-outs, guest inquiries, and assist with hostel activities, creating a fun and community-oriented atmosphere.



Key Responsibilities:

Guest Services
• Greet guests with a warm, friendly, and helpful attitude.
• Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
• Answer guest questions about the hostel, Cairo, and travel information.
• Provide recommendations for tours, food, and local experiences.
• Handle guest complaints or requests professionally and promptly.

Reservations & Administration
• Process payments and maintain accurate records.
• Respond to emails, messages, and phone inquiries quickly.
• Keep the front desk area organized and welcoming.

Hostel Atmosphere & Activities
• Encourage guest participation in hostel events and activities.
• Help maintain a friendly and community-based vibe.
• Support volunteers or other team members when needed.

Teamwork & Operations
• Communicate clearly with housekeeping and maintenance teams.
• Report any issues or feedback to the manager.
• Follow hostel policies, safety rules and standards.



Qualifications:
• Excellent English communication; Arabic or other languages a plus.
• Friendly, energetic, and guest-oriented personality.
• Good computer skills (experience with booking systems preferred).
