- Initiation of cash in/out requests and follow up until request is approved or rejected.
- Cash in and cash out according to approved documented cycle.
- Keeping a timely perfect storage for checks and their due dates, with a strong follow up with banks for collection.
- Maintain and manage all financial records, logs, spreadsheets, and system registers.
- Keeping an eye on debtors’ balance (petty cash, salary advances, and other debtors).
- Ensure the company’s banking operations; seeing to it that all funds are appropriately banked ensuring efficiency and returns.
- Ensure conformity of company’s bank account with IFRS Standards. Reconciling of bank statements against the GL, and clearing accounts assigned.
- Responsible for interest and debt analysis, with provision of relevant information and report.
- Taking care of the cash management system of the company and their payment mechanism.
- Following up on financial proceedings, and ensuring tasks are completed on schedule.
- See to it that the financial position of the company is well calculated daily.
- Check and verify cash transactions and investigate and propose possible resolution for any discrepancies.
- Ensure the efficient management of company’s treasury & bank accounts.
- Filing Documents related to duties in an appropriate and organized manner.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.1-3 years of experience in treasury, cash management, or accounting roles.Strong understanding of banking operations and financial instruments.Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with accounting software.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial data handling.Strong organizational and time management abilities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity of financial information.
