- Participate in initial client briefing meetings to align SEO goals with broader marketing strategies.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research and mapping, aligning with business objectives, content strategy, and search intent.
- Perform comprehensive competitor and gap analysis quarterly, identifying keyword opportunities, backlink strategies, and content weaknesses.
- Create and maintain SEO documentation including Keyword Mapping Sheets, Gap Analysis Reports, and Task Plans.
Technical SEO
- Conduct technical audits covering crawlability, indexing, site speed, mobile usability, structured data, and HTTPS status.
- Collaborate with web developers to resolve technical issues and implement SEO fixes.
- Log all issues and solutions into internal task tracking sheets and update them regularly.
On-Page Optimization
- Optimize existing and new pages by managing meta tags, header tags, content structure, internal links, image attributes, and keyword placement.
- Perform ongoing audits to detect thin content, duplicate tags, or structural gaps that impact rankings.
- Collaborate with content writers to ensure optimized copy aligns with keyword strategies.
Off-Page SEO
- Execute link-building strategies including guest posting, outreach, citation building, and backlink audits.
- Monitor domain authority, backlink quality, and referring domains.
- Keep backlink profiles updated and documented for review and performance tracking.
Local SEO
- Optimize and maintain clients’ Google Business Profiles and local citations.
- Conduct local SEO audits and manage geo-targeted content.
- Track and respond to online reviews, ensuring NAP (Name, Address, Phone) consistency across platforms.
Content Plans Creation
- Provide SEO input into the content plan, identifying high-opportunity keywords and content formats.
- Review content drafts to ensure SEO compliance, including keyword integration, meta tags, and linking structures.
- Coordinate with content writers and social media managers to publish SEO-optimized content on client websites.
Reporting & Review
- Prepare monthly SEO Status Reports and Performance & Ranking Reports, analyzing trends and offering actionable insights.
- Track KPIs such as organic sessions, bounce rate, keyword rankings, conversion goals, and domain authority.
- Participate in monthly review meetings with clients alongside the Account Manager to explain SEO results and suggest adjustments.
Team Collaboration
- Work in coordination with other SEO specialists to ensure strategic alignment and knowledge sharing.
- Maintain clear communication with account managers, content writers, and developers for task dependencies and execution.
- Contribute to internal documentation and process optimization to improve team efficiency and reporting accuracy.
Proficient in SEO tools such as SEMrush, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console.Strong understanding of technical SEO principles including crawlability, indexing, site speed, mobile usability, and structured data.Experience conducting keyword research, gap analysis, and competitor benchmarking.Familiarity with on-page optimization techniques, including meta tags, header structures, internal linking, and image SEO.Working knowledge of backlink analysis and link-building strategies.Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is beneficial for communicating with developers and validating technical fixes.Ability to manage multiple projects independently while aligning with broader strategic goals.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with account managers, content creators, and developers.
