MEP Procurement Engineer

Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for materials, equipment, and services in line with company standards and project requirements.

Prepare and issue RFQs, analyze quotations, and negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.

Ensure procurement activities are compliant with company policies, contractual obligations, and budget constraints.

Work closely with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to forecast needs and ensure timely material availability.

Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships to improve quality, reliability, and cost-efficiency.

Track and report procurement KPIs such as lead times, cost savings, and supplier performance.

Coordinate with the logistics team for proper delivery, customs clearance (if required), and storage of materials.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records, including purchase orders, delivery notes, and supplier agreements.

Support audits and ensure documentation is in line with ISO and other regulatory standards.

 


Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.3 to 5 years of proven experience in procurement, preferably within the facility management, construction, or MEP industry.Solid understanding of materials and equipment used in facility management and maintenance services.Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle).Knowledge of local and international procurement laws and regulations.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
