Inviting applications for the role of PTP AP Payments Specialist
In this role, you will manage and oversee the accounts payable (AP) payment processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
Responsibilities
· Process and execute payments to vendors accurately and on time.
· Verify and reconcile payment batches to ensure proper authorization and documentation.
· Monitor and resolve payment discrepancies and issues.
· Maintain accurate records of all payment transactions.
· Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure proper documentation and approval of payments.
· Assist in month-end closing activities by preparing payment reports and reconciliations.
· Provide support to vendors and internal stakeholders regarding payment-related queries.
· Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
· Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in AP payment processing.
Working hours: 6 AM - 2 PM
Working week: Monday - Friday
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
· Fluency in Arabic and communicative English level
· BA Degree
· Relevant year of experience in PTP, or a similar role
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software
· Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards
· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications / Skills
· Proven experience in AP, preferably payments and PTP
· Experience with ERP systems
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
· Experience working in the retail industry / with retail clients
· Knowledge of additional languages
