Technical Office Engineer (Heavy Equipment) ‎

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Quotations and Follow-up:
    • Create a comprehensive database for all quotations (client name, date, equipment type).
    • Record and update quotations in an Excel sheet continuously.
    • Coordinate with the inspection engineer to ensure timely completion of quotations.
    • Review finalized quotations for accuracy and quality.
    • Send quotations to the spare parts department for further processing.
    • Update quotation records daily based on external purchases to maintain data accuracy.
    • Prepare preliminary price offers for various types of equipment repairs.
  2. Equipment Repair Reports:
    • Prepare a detailed visual report with the maintenance team upon receiving equipment, outlining initial condition and required repairs.
    • Document repair steps with before-and-after photos.
    • Provide technical reports to the sales department for joint operations if needed.
    • Oversee the Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) for new equipment and generators, creating a visual report on condition, testing, and performance results for the sales department and the client.
    • Respond to customer inquiries and official company correspondence (e.g., warranty exit letters).
  3. Internal Coordination Under ISO Standards:
    • Collaborate closely with internal departments (Sales, Maintenance, After-Sales) to ensure high-quality processes and customer satisfaction.
    • Adhere to ISO-compliant procedures and regulations governing company operations.

Education & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.1-3 years of experience in a technical office, maintenance, or after-sales service environment.Experience in heavy equipment, generators, or industrial machinery.Skills & Competencies:Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems related to heavy equipment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).Ability to create detailed technical quotations, reports, and documentation.Effective communication skills for coordination with internal departments and customers.Capable of working under pressure and managing multiple tasks efficiently.Familiarity with technical drawing software (e.g., AutoCAD) is a plus.Other Requirements:Good command of Arabic and English (written and spoken).Ability to work independently and within a team.Fully office-based position (no field visits).
