Data Analyst

1)     Data Cleaning and Preparation: This involves filtering the data, handling missing values, and preparing the dataset for analysis to ensure accuracy and relevance.

2)     Data Exploration and Analysis: Analysts use statistical tools and techniques to explore and analyze data, identifying patterns, relationships, and trends.

3)     Data Visualization: They create visual representations of data findings through charts, graphs, and dashboards to make the data understandable.

4)     Reporting: Data analysts prepare reports and presentations to communicate the insights and findings from the data to stakeholders, which can influence policy and decision-making processes.

5)     Collaboration: They often work with other departments to understand their data needs and help them make informed decisions based on data insights.


Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data AnalystTechnical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniquesStrong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks)Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracyAdept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
