Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Tender Team Leader Engineer with a strong background in HVAC systems to lead and manage our tendering team. The ideal candidate will oversee the preparation of technical and commercial proposals, ensuring they meet client requirements while adhering to industry standards. This role demands excellent leadership skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of electrical systems and HVAC integration.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the electrical tendering team, providing guidance and technical support.
- Allocate tasks, set deadlines, and ensure team deliverables align with project timelines.
Tender Preparation:
- Review tender documents, specifications, and client requirements.
- Develop accurate and competitive technical and financial proposals.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain cost estimates and technical data.
Project Analysis:
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for tendered projects.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
Client Interaction:
- Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client discussions to clarify project requirements.
- Present and negotiate tender proposals with clients and stakeholders.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare detailed tender documents, including technical specifications, bill of quantities (BOQ), and cost breakdowns.
- Maintain records of tender submissions, evaluations, and outcomes.
Education:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.Experience:Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical tendering, with a proven track record in HVAC projects.Experience in leading teams and managing multiple tenders simultaneously.Technical Skills:In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC integration, and industry standards.Proficiency in tendering software, AutoCAD, and MS Office Suite.Strong understanding of cost estimation, value engineering, and technical proposal writing.Soft Skills:Excellent leadership and team management abilities.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Preferred Qualifications:Certification in HVAC systems or related technical training.Experience in international projects or working with multinational clients.
