As a Senior Maintenance Engineer – Electrical for a mega medical project, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of all electrical systems. You will oversee the maintenance, inspection, and repair of these systems, ensuring they meet the required standards and specifications to support the ongoing operations of the medical facility.
Your responsibilities will encompass the following key areas:
Electrical System Management:
- Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems within the medical facility.
- Ensure all electrical systems comply with relevant standards, codes, and regulations.
Preventive Maintenance:
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections and tests to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
Troubleshooting and Repairs:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with electrical systems.
- Perform necessary repairs or coordinate with external service providers to ensure timely resolution.
Coordination with Contractors and Vendors:
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for the maintenance and repair of electrical systems.
- Ensure that all work is performed to the required quality and safety standards.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all electrical systems comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to ensure a safe working environment.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on the status of electrical systems and any issues or recommendations.
Operational Support:
- Work closely with facility management and other stakeholders to ensure electrical systems support the ongoing operations of the medical facility.
- Provide technical support and advice during the operation phase of the project.
To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. (Accumulative Grade must not be less than Good).4 – 7 years of experience in electrical maintenance within the operation phase of medical or similar projects.Strong knowledge of electrical systems and their maintenance requirements.Proven experience in developing and implementing preventive maintenance schedules.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
