You will report directly to the Chairman, co-managing the Company’s Textiles division and playing an active role in the Company’s business development.
The scope of your role will depend on your experience, but in general you will:
- Act as a key point of contact, ensuring that business relationships are optimised by liaising with principal clients, end clients, internal teams, government/customs officials, and external suppliers.
- Develop a good understanding of the Company’s principal clients, including all associated products, services and local end clients.
- Manage sales activity for existing principal client accounts to obtain profitable results whilst ensuring compliance, customer satisfaction and the accurate, on-budget and timely delivery of customer orders.
- Deliver growth to the business by opening new principal accounts and upscaling existing accounts in line with a strategic business development plan, which you will devise and implement together with the team.
- Manage all pipeline activity.
- Manage installation / training / servicing for end clients.
- Represent the Company at industry events and trade shows.
- Maintain clear and accurate sales records and prepare well-researched reports / revenue forecasts / risk assessments as required.
- Use your economic awareness and forward-thinking vision to constantly monitor all relevant local activities and developments, actively seeking out new opportunities.
- Conduct regular research and provide feedback on market trends, competitors, prospective new principal clients and potential new areas of interest.
- Be willing to undertake ad hoc tasks when required.
