Head of Retail Sales job description
We are seeking a qualified Head of Retail Sales who can run the selling engine
of our organization and implement a new bancassurance model successfully on
the long run with his/her own sales strategic skills as well as solid leadership
qualities. The position is to offer a comprehensive responsibility over mass
production objectives and after sales management. The ideal candidate has
deep experience with the entire sales process, excelling at leading a young
generation of Sales staff, relationship building with the banking partner, and deal
closing. We are looking for a quick learner who has strong internal and external
negotiating skills, with a successful track record who can inspire the same
performance in others. The role demands a leader who has a sharp mind and an
ability to coach, advise, motivate, or replace sales representatives while building
and maintaining a high-performance team.
Objectives of this role
• Implement successfully the new bancassurance model
• Achieve company’s budgeted objectives by planning thoroughly, setting
sales goals, analyzing performance data, and making forecasts
• Research consumer needs and identify how solutions can be addressed
• Train, motivate, and advise a team of sales representatives
• Develop skills continuously for training, and leading team members, and
ensure that they are using effective sales tactics to meet revenue
objectives
• Generate leads, and establish and nurture client relationships
Responsibilities
• Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands our customer base
and extends the company's global revenue reach
• Meet with potential corporate clients and grow long-lasting relationships
that address their needs
• Set objectives to sales representatives, train and coach them, monitor
regularly their performance
• Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop plans for filling them
• Ensure that company targets are met by holding regular check-ins with
sales team to set objectives and monitor progress
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes
Required skills and qualifications
• 8 or more years of experience in managing retail sales network in the
bancassurance, banking or insurance environment.
• Proven record of success with implementing a retail Sales strategic
organization.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Superb leadership ability.

• Motivational speaking experience
• Fluent English both in speaking and writing
• Results oriented
• Dual experience in bank and insurance in retail sales management
