Accounting Supervisor

  • Oversee daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Participate in regular tax audits.
  • Prepare budgeting reports and forecast revenues.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing.
  • Monitor the daily performance of the accounting department.
  • Organize financial data into usable information and maintain updated records.
  • Track the progress of financial and accounting objectives.
  • Establish accounting policies and procedures, aligned with the company’s targets.
  • Ensure compliance with the applied systems and accounting standards.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent are a plus.5-7 years of accounting experience, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role.Proven experience in managing daily accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations.Experience with month-end and year-end close processes.Exposure to budget preparation, variance analysis, and cash management.Familiarity with fixed asset accounting and capital reconciliation is an advantage.Solid knowledge of accounting principles (e.g., GAAP or IFRS).Strong skills in Microsoft Office especially Excel for financial analysis and reporting.Familiarity with ERP systems and automated accounting processes.Ability to supervise and guide accounting staff, including task delegation, work review, monitoring daily operations, and ensuring compliance with policies and deadlines.
